I really liked the spacious size of the room, the storage for your things and the bed was very comfortable. the decor is also pretty good being a new hotel.

The location is fine but I was happy I had my car! Only two things that made my stay a bit stressful. 1. my room door wouldn’t close (or latch) all the way without closing it 10 plus times. I did ask for it to be fixed, and it got a bit better. 2. one night there was a lot of really drunk loud people there but that’s not the hotels fault.

Arrived at 130pm since I was traveling from out of town. My reservation said 3pm check in. At 2pm I notified the front desk of my arrival in case my room was ready early I waited in the lobby. At about 315 I checked in again with the front desk. Apparently my room was ready at 236pm. Hugely disappointing that the staff didn’t notify me as I waited in their lobby for my room.

The location was what sold me right away. What really took me by surprise is how beautiful and modern the hotel is. The rooms are clean, modern, and sleek. The bathroom is gorgeous with a huge walk in shower!

The staff on the phone could have been a bit better. When I called and stated I began the online check in process the lady on the phone was a bit snippy and used the term, “first of all” in a derogatory tone. Though when I checked in, the gal at the front desk was fabulous.

Very clean, easy and FREE parking (a bonus in SD, where most hotels charge $30/night!) Very comfortable/small King room. The location is NOT why you stay here - it's off the freeway, convenient as a stop over going elsewhere - or - if you're like me, just needed someplace to sleep before a busy day in the area.

The coffee at breakfast buffet was not as good as the coffee made in the room. The location is NOT why you stay here. It's totally safe and clean, just not interesting, pretty, nor is there anything to get to by foot, and nearest area, Pacific Beach, is 10 minutes away by car. Totally worth the drive, but again, you are not staying here for anything more than budget friendly safe and clean hotel room

The inside of the rooms were new, clean, and thought had been put into their design.

It was very loud. The hotel is right on a busy road and my room was facing the road. I woke up during the night due to noise from cars. The location is a bit far away from the main areas (e.g. Pacific Beach)

We were returning customers. We were overcharged 100 dollars for a smoking fee. I spoke with the manager and let her know we went to a concert and must have been the stench from our clothes. We absolutely did not smoke in the room. She said she'd verify with the maid and I would get a call back. I left a second message and still no call back. Will not return to this location.
