The front desk staff where very helpful and professional. Love the vibe of the hotel, great location and the valet parking was a plus.

The bartender on the night of Oct 19th, was very annoyed that I requested a cup of ice to take to my room and rolled her eyes at me. We had no power overnight in the hotel, which made for an uneasy stay.

Very pet friendly (no pet fee), great location, well appointed rooms

The valet parking is highway robbery, but it's way more convenient than finding your own parking so we just ate the cost

Room cleaning was not done in a timely manner. We had to notify the front desk each day that our room had not been cleaned after being gone all day. The last day we needed to go to the lobby to get towels and toilet paper! This was unacceptable in our opinion and not Kimpton quality. We also were sorry and surprised the room did not provide robes. We were also surprised at the high fee to park a car in the hotel lot!

There was nothing to like about this hotel. The free water at the entrance.

I was so much looking forward to staying at Brice after reading the reviews and seeing an IG post, unfortunately my experience was not as expected, and 3 nights were cut to one. Employee and the concierge were at the front desk, not a Welcome or a smile. My first room smelled like someone had left a dirty mop in the room or used a dirty mop to "clean" the floor, I did not make it past the front door. I went downstairs to let him know what I had encountered and that I needed a new room, no apologies for the inconvenience, etc. He gives me another room, old furniture, a squeaky bed and to top it off holes in the sheets and to my surprise dirty linens which I did not see until removing them the next morning. The table where the TV stand is located is your work area, no trashcan by the toilet. All experiences are not the same, make sure to read the negative reviews not just the good ones and certainly don't be fooled by an IG post.

The property was beautiful. It had the stylish touches that make it fun to stay at a boutique hotel. It was very quiet and safe feeling while still being a comfortable walk to the river street district and historic areas. The courtyard was also comfortable and pretty!

We reserved a 2-room suite (a bedroom with 2 king beds and a living room with a double sleeper sofa), so our family of 4 could sleep in 2 separate rooms to avoid our snorer. In the evening, we discovered the sleeper sofa didn’t have sheets or a blanket on it. I went to ask for linens and was told that housekeeping had left for the day. The woman at the desk said they were completely out of towels and sheets because of a large group of teenagers staying there. She apologized but was only able to find a pillow and thin blanket for me. I used the blanket as a bottom sheet over the mattress pad, but that left me without a top sheet or blanket. I had to use a beach towel we had in our car as a makeshift blanket. I was shocked that a 4 star hotel would shrug their shoulders about leaving guests without linens. They didn’t offer anything beyond the initial, brief apology, which further surprised me. It was a beautiful building in a perfect location, but I wouldn’t go back to a hotel that I can’t count on to provide basic bedding. It was just weird.

I liked the location and rooms.

Animals need to be farther from the rooms with no animals.

Everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious with plenty options to choose from. The people working at the hotel were all extremely nice and helpful. The location was great, close to restaurants and points of interest. The hotel offered free bikes to ride and they had wine for free everyday.

It’s nice that there is a restaurant on the property and no pet fee. The location is good for walking to other sites.

The acoustics are pretty bad, at least in the suites. I tried two suite rooms (in the first the air conditioner was broken so we moved to the second one, which had trash and hair in some room corners and the shower drained slow). Most of the suites are on the streetside, and the traffic kept me and my dog up all night.
