Wonderful stay! Definitely recommend this property.

Cleaning staff left our door unlocked. Thankfully nothing was missing. This is the only issue we had and I’m sure it was an accident.

The pool was great! We had a blast there. Loved the yummy breakfast every morning. The hotel was clean and at a great location. We will definitely stay here again!

At breakfast, (4th of July), there were no eggs, and no cinnamon rolls. I asked staff working the breakfast and they said they were out of cinnamon rolls. Really!??! That's what HIE is known for and they were out, on a holiday no less. They also did not keep the pool towels supplied the night before.

The beds were super comfortable , the staff up front was very nice and helpful, and the accommodations were nice.

The only problem I would say is that while they came and emptied the garbage and replaced towels, the place was not straightened up at all.

Breakfast was the only redeeming thing at this hotel.

Everything. We didn’t have a room key! I had no towels in my room. The shower was broken. I was first put in a room that was already occupied. We were told the pool was heat, it most definitely was not! They only had one hot tub open and it was absolutely tiny. Like fit 4 adults tiny! Not to mention the water was disgusting! None of the ice machines were working. Everyone on the 3rd floor had to be let into their rooms so anyone could have gone up there said their room was mine and gotten in. Nothing was safe and it was such a hazard! I was with my two young boys and if something had happened and they got locked in the room I would have had to go all the way down stairs to get someone then all the way back up to be let in. The employees acted like I was a nuisance having to be let into my room. I literally had NO CHOICE! When I would say thank you after they unlocked my door they would just walk away, no your welcome or even a smile. It made my entire stay completely uncomfortable. We were also lied to by staff and told different reasons why we couldn’t have a key card and were told we would get free points for all the inconvenience but I have yet to receive those!

the hot tub was great to go out and socialize after a long day out and about. Breakfast was great and the staff where super friendly.

the bed was absolutely awful. My wife and I both woke up so soar we could barley move, we had to take extremely hot showers to loosen up the back so we could start our day. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express in the past and never had this issue.

Away from all the restaurants, grocery stores, and just about everything else in town

Our key cards did not work when we arrived and then failed to work, and had to be re-set, two more times during our stay.
