Location easy to find and near interstate
Was kinda loud. Could hear lots of traffic and people talking. Coffee pot didn’t work. Had to leave early in morning cafe not open till 6:30

Was clean and got checked in quickly.
The pillows were terrible. The bed was not comfortable. Poorly made mattress. I could not turn the TV OFF! Tried the remote. Looked all over the TV for an off switch. Had to get down on my knees and behind the TV stand to unplug it at 3 am. It was like having a neon sign IN your room. Then when I called the front desk in the morning to tell them my issues that night, the first thing the guy said was "Well, I'm not comping you the whole night". "You should have told me I could have moved you". Buddy, not a damn thing is moving at 3 am and I never asked you to comp me a whole night. You did give me a discount but that doesn't correct the rest of the issues. Update the main thing people most need. Comfort.

Everyone there was fantastic and we so enjoyed our stay there. We went to Tampa for our grandson’s birthday, but could not take some of his presents with us. I called the property and spoke with Theresa (wonderful person and a credit to the property) who told me to have the package delivered there and they would hold it for us until our arrival.
Theresa went above and beyond in our opinion by offering this AND KEEPING HER COMMITMENT!!!!
She is a truly amazing person and we will not stay anywhere else for any trip to Tampa!!
Plus, Jerry and Tammy (both working diligently at the Starbucks at the hotel) made sure that we had everything we needed for our morning coffee and breakfast!!

Breakfast was good
Room was not cleaned the way it was supposed to be. Rag from other guest still in bathroom, toothpaste on the wall, bed was not comfortable, and ac kept making clanking noises.

The room wasn’t cleaned at all. Bathroom, towels were of hair and dirt. There was hair and dirt on the bathroom floor. Hair all over the toilet. Thick layer of dust on the bed frames, lamps and AC unit. Bed sheets and pillows were never changed. They gave me a bath mat to dry myself.

There was very little to like about this hotel. If I had to choose, it would be the fact that my friends were all in the same hotel as myself.
We had high expectations as this is a Marriott; however, those expectations were quickly distinguished. On the first night our toilet stopped working. We had to use gloves to flush it. Our sink and shower filled up with water with every use. They were overbooked and was asking us to switch our king room to a double queen. Breakfast was limited to 3 options because they did not have the ingredients for the other items (everything on the menu included eggs and bread so I'm not sure of it was a matter of no ingredients or just simply that they didn't want to make the different items).

The Staff was exceptional, Allowed me to check in early because rooms were available.
The exceptional service was provided before the staff was aware of the purpose of my visit.
The purpose of my visit was a Funeral.
The side door was left open by turning the lock so the door could not close.
