The place is very central

The noise is so much that I could not stay asleep because of loud cars and loud music and loud noises from the street. A total 300 usd a night nightmare

The shower was slippery and shower head didn’t work. The lock on the window was gone was scary having our kids alone. The toilet was leaking water.

hotel è vecchio, molto grande e necesssita di una ristrutturazione importante. la struttura esistente resta importante ma troppi spazi non utilizzati o mal arredati. L'auto si deve parcheggiare, sostanzialmente obbligati in hotel, con prezzi elevati da segnalare che non sottolineano mai i prezzi tasse incluse per cui fare attenzione

The updated main tower room was sleek and modern. The bathroom was clean and big The room itself was also on the larger side compared to other hotels. Valet was top notch and they deserve a raise. The valet were extremely helpful and it was a very nice start and end of our stay.

Very disappointed with the front desk, prior to check-in I had a few questions and I had to call the front desk more than 5 times before someone answered. Once checked-in, I needed more towels and our phone in the room didn’t even work, therefore I had to call the front desk using my phone in which I had to call 5 times before someone actually answered. One of the lights connected to the headboard didn’t work also. We used the pool and was extremely disappointed that there weren’t any bathrooms. My daughter had to use the bathroom and my husband had to bring her back in a towel back to our room while dripping in water.

Room is spacious, everything works and function well as expected. The location is good but got a little noisy on Saturday night.

I didn't like that the pool closed either at 7 pm or 8 pm. I can't remember, but having a pool is always a big plus, and that seemed a little early.

Shower water never got hot. Shower door wouldn’t stay closed & got the floor all wet. 34 church bell chimes at 6 AM (right next door).

Our room was on the 16th floor so hardly any noise from the streets below. Lovely big room, immaculately clean, with tea/coffee making facilities, free bottles of water, etc. The bed was very comfortable. No complaints about the room or helpfulness of any of the staff, who were very pleasant.

Our stay was, sadly, partly ruined by the music that hits you when you get out of the lifts in the lobby first thing in the morning and throughout the whole day. It's a horrible din. We questioned why it had to be that loud and not one member of staff liked it either! Indeed, some were very clear that they had had to "suffer it all the time" on their shifts, but it was no use complaining because they'd been told "by the powers that be" that it was at an appropriate level "to create the right ambience." Err, no! We had had a meal at the bar in the lobby the first night as we'd arrived late-ish, but ate quickly and exited even quicker because we found ourselves having to raise our voices to (a) place orders for food and (b) talk to one another. We decided we definitely wouldn't be eating or drinking for the rest of our stay, so instead found places elsewhere in San Jose that played much more muted background music and where we didn't have to shout to be heard. We had a two-day stay and then the weekend away in Napa Valley before coming back for one more night to this hotel, but if we'd been able to cancel the second stay, we would have done. We really didn't want to come back to THAT music, despite the excellent room/staff, etc.
