I was very pleased with the hotel!!

The only thing I did not like were the sheets. I don't know what fabric the sheets were mAde of but they were hot and didn't breathe!

Staff was great room was clean. Pool was wonderful.

Breakfast was good but the gravy for the biscuits and gravy was mostly cold and once made it to warm.

It was convenient for visiting JMU.

They attempted to over charge me for my dog. They said that it was $25, then there was another $50 added. I'm glad I asked for a receipt. They credited me $50.

Shower was a bit slippery to stand in, had to hold on. wish they would rough up the bottom.

The breakfast was highly disappointing, it was not advertised as being a Continental style-and it was a very limited and low quality continental breakfast at that. there was only 1 option for yogurt, 2 cereal options, no fresh fruit, the bagels were low quality and going stale. It was basically all bread products. A bunch of cheap carbohydrates and some milk.

The “Breakfast Included” needs to be advertised as Continental Breakfast, not just breakfast. It was very limited and disappointing

The water pressure in the shower was awesome and the best I have ever had in a hotel. The TV was nice and crystal clear. The location from the interstate was very close. The bed was comfortable for an old style mattress.

I had to wait 20 minutes to check in because the lady at the front was in a side room talking to someone else about recycling and solving it worldwide, then when she finally noticed people were there, she helped someone else before me that came after me because she was already staying there and it appeared they did not follow through on some room cleaning that was supposed to happen earlier in the day. Once she gave the customer towels she disappeared to another hotel to get a pillow for this customer. I understood that portion because she was already staying there, but she never apologized for taking so long, which was very disappointing for customer service. The front desk lady appeared overwhelmed quickly by the number of people waiting while she was off in a side room not being attentive. There needs to be an indicator buzzer when someone enters the front door or a bell to hit. I could not tell if the people talking in the storage room were employees or customers because I could not see into the room. The interior of the hotel is brown and outdated. The brown carpet has got to go. The room was adequate but the beds are old, albeit comfortable. The microwave was dirty, the room smelled funny, and the bathroom did not appear to be cleaned well. There was something all over the toilet seat and we had to clean it before using it. The was wallpaper coming off the wall, the bathroom sink was falling off the wall and the floor was dirty in between the bed under the nightstand. The towels and wash clothes felt like sandpaper and were old. The elevator was filthy with handprints all over the stainless steel. The feel of the hotel was that it was dirty, lived-in, and old. The price point was not commiserate with the experience or the value. I had a better experience in an $80 travel lodge in Wytheville days earlier in an older building.

We checked in around 11 pm and left about 6 am, it everything was perfect for what we used it for!

There was nothing I didn’t like. It was clean and the man at the front desk was very nice.

The shower was not great and there was no vanity, just a tiny sink. The walls were super thin because we were awakened or kept awake by people in the hallway and next door.

There was a 50 dollar incident fee applied to bill without being told. Once I asked the front desk told if all good it will be deducted from bill.
