Natürlich ist ein Hostel etwas einfacher als ein Hotel. Aber wir haben uns ganz wohl gefühlt. Super war natürlich die Lage, mitten in SF. Aber auch die Möglichkeit, Wäsche zu waschen und Lebensmittel zu kühlen waren uns sehr willkommen. Das Dreibettzimmer war klein, aber pragmatisch (keine Klima!). Es gab genug Duschen und Toiletten auf den Etagen, auch behindertengerecht. Zum Duschen aber FlipFlops tragen 😉 Das Hostel ist sehr nachhaltig gedacht, zum. Beispiel wird der Wassertank für die Toiletten über ein Waschbecken befüllt, so das nicht zusätzlich wasser fürs Händewaschen verbraucht wird (siehe Foto). Auch das Wlan war okay und es gab einen großen Gemeinschaftsraum, in dem Olympia lief. Gegenüber ist ein Parkhaus, das mit 38$ für 24h nicht billig ist, aber mit Auto geht gar nicht in SF.

Muy rico todo, solo un día ya ni alcancé desayuno a pesar de que aún no cerraban cocina ya no volvieron a servir huevos pero fuera de eso todo muy rico y la ubicación estuvo genial.

Creo que todo es justo lo que pagas con el servicio que recibes.

Ótimo custo benefício, perfeita localização, no centro da cidade e bom café da manhã, precisamos fazer check-in durante a madrugada e conseguimos entrar em contato com o hostel facilmente.

Located right in the downtown, a few minutes walking from Union Square and Chinatown. Commutes can be easily done to other parts of the city. The hostel has this old house in down town style that I really liked. I did liked a lot that each bed has its own lamp and electric outlets.

The carpets and the elevator but nothing I really care.

Breakfast was good, filling and appreciated. The location was great for the job I was there for and the event that happened afterwards. The staff was wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and made me feel safe. I liked that the bathroom and the sink were separated because it made it easier to brush teeth while someone else was in the bathroom and getting ready.

There wasn’t much to not like. I did like the parking garage across the street made it easier to park near by, but I didn’t like having to pay an extra fee to stay at the hostel. That’s not the hostels fault though, San Francisco is known for not having the greatest parking options. Even for those who live in the city, let alone those who visit. The step up required to access the bathroom in the room was a bit concerning. I’d be worried if someone with a physical disability stayed there.

Perfect location in Union Square zone. Free breakfast included. Staff was really friendly. The private bedroom with bathroom I shared with my daughter was really nice. We store our luggage during a two day trip to Yosemite without any problem or cost. Price was unbeatable for San Francisco.

Everything met my expectations, considering that it's a hostel, not a hotel.

Can't say enough good things about this hostel. I left a more detailed review for another set of dates that I stayed here. It's clean, desk staff and housekeeping staff are wonderful, the location is very central to lots of fun things and the rates are great. Stay here if you can! It's got a great vibe!

Can't think of a thing.

I've stayed here several times. It is truly one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Desk staff is friendly and very helpful, with lots of helpful tips for getting around the city. The place is super clean! Considering that there are several shared hallway bathrooms and shower rooms and so many people using them, the place remains pretty impeccable. I always see the housekeeping staff cleaning! Well done! And they are always very kind and cheerful. The location is very central to many other parts of the city. You do need to be careful as parts of downtown are sketchy to say the least. Just be aware of your surroundings is my best advice. The hostel itself is EXTREMELY safe with their locked front door and 24 hour desk staff. And there are also parts of the area that are perfectly fine and easy to walk around. San Francisco is a wonderful city! Recently, I very absent mindedly left my backpack in the lobby for about 30 minutes. I rushed back for it and it had been put behind the desk. I don't recommend forgetting such a thing, as I did :D but if you are going to leave behind something important, chances are it will will be there at this hostel. Of course no one can guarantee such a thing, but it was my experience! I highly recommend this hostel! Thank you Hostelling International Downtown!

Love the location. It's near public transportation. Powell station is the nearest if you come from the airport. Breakfast is enough for me. The kitchen is clean and there is free water, tea and coffee. The bedroom and bathroom are clean. Check in and check out are easy. The staff is kind, polite and friendly. I don't use the lounge because i always go back late.

Is a great place, very clean, there are some people helping u in the kitchen, is is a very good location, I definitely recommend this place.
