The staff was friendly. Beds were comfy , I lived in the area for 28 years . So I know the location is wonderful and the price during the holidays was great.

It wasn't cleaned, maids also never came by. I understand it was a smoking room, just come and empty trash or give us more toilet paper? .

It's right across the freeway from the outlet center in Camarillo. The receptionist was really nice and the continental breakfast in the form of a sack lunch was adequate.

The carpet and floor boards were disgusting. We had to wash our baby before putting him to sleep because he picked up a black stain on his legs and feet.

Location of it was nice

The staff was extremely rude I would never go there again if the same staff are there

Location was convenient

The bathroom was horrible. Dirty, multiple broken tiles in the shower, ceiling had apparently been repaired but not painted, light switch didn’t work, toilet hadn’t been cleaned. The only chair had a disgusting stain over 90% of the surface. Questionable individuals everywhere often sitting on the concrete walk drinking from something wrapped in brown paper and being loud. I guessed maybe some permanent residents.

The only thing I liked was the bed and pillows. They were both comfortable.

The woman at the front desk was very hostile with me. She questioned me on why my reservation name didn't match the name on my ID. I explained to her that the name on my ID was my full legal name and my reservation name was my middle name plus the last name on my ID. I don't think she understood me because she accused me of being rude. I began explaining that I wasn't being rude and she went on to say "do you want a room or not". I felt threatened with not getting a room. If anyone was being rude it was the employee. I've stayed at many Days Inn and I've never been treated this horribly by other employees. Regarding the room: The bathroom door did close all the way. There were new brackets on it and they either were not the right size or they should've shaved the door so it would close correctly.

the young lady at the desk when we checked in was very nice but that was the only enjoyable part of our stay.

the room felt dirty the property is outdated property seems to be used for field workers to reside; large amounts in each room it seemed that bus to work on the fleet of buses parked there it was disheartening to see so many crammed in each room but I’m sure they are just happy to have a place to sleep anyways additionally; the water ran brown for a millisecond when turning it on for the shower the towels were rough and thin not soft and comfy… but what upset us THE MOST was in the booking listing it CLEARLY states breakfast is included but the manager when I went in in the morning looked confused and said they do NOT offer breakfast. when booking I look for places who have some sort of breakfast and preferably a hot tub on site. hot tub was out of order and no breakfast. also not sure if related to the stay but 4 days after checking out my boyfriend and I ended up testing positive for covid not happy at all
