Wonderful staff and the location was perfect for walking to local activities and restaurants.

WE were in the Wilson Suite which included the front porch. It was delightful to sit on the porch and relax. The bed was very comfortable.
Well, our key was a problem, it did not work correctly, needs some tender love. The door closers were so strong that you almost had to fall in to get the door open.

One of our 3 beds was not great. We reported this to the office and they had a new bed out for us that same day, so we were very happy with this response. They could not have been nicer or more attentive.
Everything exceeded our expectations, we have NOTHING that we didn’t like.

We loved how cozy and quiet the space was. And the courtyard was beautiful. Lattes were made to order and they create a lovely dessert each night for each guest.
There was a sign that said "no politics please". There was a couple that simply could not respect that and it created a bit of discord.

Loved the location and friendly service! We have stayed at the St Francis Inn in the past (historic area) but this was our first time in the Beach Cottage. What a cozy, special comfortable place for my Dad and I to have a father daughter getaway week! The staff are incredible. We loved my Irish cupcakes upon arrival and discovered that the owners are Irish and even the maintenance man, Matt, is part Irish and has such a lovely accent and is very friendly and charming. We will definitely be back!

Best service ever!!!! From complimentary wine, to desserts, great breakfast, look no further!!! Will be more than happy to stay again. Comfortable beds! Great location.

Your WiFi was the worst I have ever experienced - TV was a joke, made organizing events on phone near impossible - Your AC was marginal and did not work the last 36 hours ! Lastly Had I known in advance i would have to trudge up and down 3 flights of stairs I would have made other arrangements -

We had the pleasure and sheer delight to stay at The St Francis Inn during our 45th wedding anniversary weekend . It was a total delight . Built in 1791 the Inn greets visitors with the history and ambiance of days of old with all the modern amenities and comforts of 300 years of efforts. The staff, everyone was kind , gracious , helpful and seemed all genuinely enjoying their roles as inn keepers . Our room The Elizabeth was a grand 2 room suite, brightly lit , overlooking A small park, and the pool. 2 lovely homemade breakfasts which we enjoyed in the garden . Homemade desserts ready for each guest after 5pm to enjoy later. There’s no end to activity choices including bicycles for use, the pool, Screened gazebo and 2 ocean cottages with property available for the use of all guests. Beach chairs and towels to spend time at the ocean, bathroom and shower to rinse off when your done. We walked all over town and back to our weekend home each night. Grateful for choosing St Francis . We’ll be back.
