There was a guy in an old truck that I think worked there that was nice. Otherwise Nothing

The room was dirty (the toilet wasn’t even cleaned), it smelled like smoke even though I booked a non smoking room, the shower curtain was disgusting, the grounds around the complex were trashy and had a broken down cars in it. There was no place clean or safe feeling to walk my big dog. I picked this place for it’s ‘good’ rating and the photos. Wrong.

Room was dirty had to get the sheets changed because of stains on the comforter the shower was disgusting when asked staff members if they could re-clean the room they said no

2nd stay - great, quiet, secluded location but not far from where i needed to be

Nothing was appealing of the property. We stayed there because that’s the first motel we saw n pulled in, after driving 10 hrs. Family was tired.

There were no smiling stickers on the doors to the room we were put in. Room stunk bad of cigarette, bugs running across the floor, blankets were not clean. Broken towel hangers n two small towels for 4 people to share. No pool available.

The only good things were there was air conditioning, refrigerators and they allow dogs and the beds were actually really comfortable.

We live about an hour from Abilene and were not there for pleasure, unfortunately we were affected by a tornado and lost power and my mom is dependent on oxygen and I knew they allowed dogs. We had to get 2 rooms because they only allow 2 dogs per room, we have 3 dogs and they put us on the bottom floor knowing that they have roudy residents above who never sleep and smoke pot. We were already on edge, stressed and sleep deprived because of the storm that ripped through my property and all we wanted to do was relax, sleep and get ready for cleanup when the power was restored and we could go back home. We only paid for 1 night in hopes they would have the power restored fast. The next morning I was on hold for a long time with the power company to see if we had power yet but time was running out, we either needed to pay for another night or be out by 11a so I went to the front desk to let them know of the circumstances and they literally didn't care. I was told "we were very full last nigh and we need to get those rooms cleaned ASAP." (The rooms were not super clean and there were hairs in the fridge and a pubic in the little shelf that they but the towels in, I cleaned it myself and asked for fresh towels. ) So I said: I'm just asking for a little leniency due to the circumstances, so he gave me an extra 15 minutes. We ended up staying another night but found out later that La Quinta also allows dogs, lesson learned. I have never written a bad review but I've never been more disappointed in a service as I was at this motel 6.
