Couldn't complain

Location downtown, lady who checked me in was nice.

Smell of urine in the room. Coffee packets open. Floor not so clean. Breakfast was just bagels or english muffins.

This hotel was in the perfect location, was affordable, and met all our needs.

Our main issue was that the AC unit was a bit wonky, and took an hour to cool down, so the room was quite hot for a while. The pool was shut down and locked up far before the advertised "dark" closing time. Lastly, while the hotel room was "clean," it was definitely not spotless and "Hotel Clean." The linens were washed, the surfaces were dusted, and the floors were vacuumed, but the baseboards were dirty, nooks & crainys in the bathroom & shower had not been wiped down or scrubbed in quite some time. It was a very "basic clean" but not what we'd expect from a hotel.

Received very welcoming greeting on arrival. Had never been in that part of Staunton and didn't realize it's historical history. Missed having a frig to store cool items. Enjoyed eating at the Chinese restaurant across the parking lot. Would stay here again.

Bed was very comfortable

needs to be fixed up cracked walls, bathroom needs to be redone

That it was close to Mary Baldwin University. The area was nice.

The sheets were stained. The towels had makeup stains from a previous guest.
