This was our favorite place on our 6 night cross country drive!
Very friendly staff, especially the young woman at the bar—I don’t know her name, but it was her first night behind the bar.
The pool and hot tub were great, and the whole property was cool—lots of little living room type common areas that would make this a great event space.
The pet friendly room didn’t smell bad! A first on this trip. There was a great grassy area beyond the hotel that was great to let the dogs run around on too.
The room was cozy and comfortable. The bed was comfortable—first great sleep since leaving home and the shower was great too.

It was near the event we were going to. The decor was comfy cozy. The price was good.
The drain in our sink was slow, the toilet was not attached to the floor and there was mold above the bathtub. The bed was not very comfortable, it was bumpy. Not the hotels fault, but we had a couple in the room next to us yelling and fighting much of the night. A lot of swearing. They sounded intoxicated. Sleeping was difficult.

When I opened the conjoining room door the other side was open so I could see into the room next to us. I tried to pull their door shut but it wouldn’t latch so I just closed my door and made sure it was tight. Room 222

The woodsiest, most cabin-y place we stayed on the trip and it was in Des Moines? Anyway, great breakfast, nice room, looked like a nice pool though we didn’t use it.
Somehow I ended up with two bookings. Not sure how the cancellation didn’t go through but the front desk cancelled it when we arrived.

The staff was friendly in answering questions. The dining area was cleaned and always stocked. The room was clean.
Didn't like that the back door from the main entrance never locked when leaving or entering. Need more towels in the pool area

My kids had fun
Got a call at 4am don't know why I was called at 4am. Didn't ask for a wake up call. Kids were running up and down Hall at midnight. Hot tub had kids under 14 so couldn't use. People had food and alcohol in the pool area no staff around to tell them to get it our. Bed us lumpy. Pillows were either to flat or to fat. Canceled my reservation for Sept.

Both the exterior and interior spaces were very clean and designed in a wonderful rustic theme
The room was done likewise. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was a nice size as well.
The breakfast held a nice surprise...French toast! I don't think I've ever seen this. Nice change from the typical waffles and now conveyor belt pancakes.
There was also substantial places to walk your fur baby.
There is nothing furnished (either in the room or at the front desk) of restaurants/places that deliver. Some people don't utilize Doordash.etc.
The pet fee is $25 per night rather than a one time fee. For those staying multiple nights, this really adds up.

My room wasn't clean and the fireplace didn't work. The soap and shampoo in the shower were empty
