there was no entrance sign, the property was located behind a gas station, or i missed the sign

Checkin staff was exceptionally pleasant and friendly. This stay was perfect for our needs. We were passing through on our way to Duluth.

Our reservation had been canceled, it took forever for the desk clerk to find out why. Finally, we were given a room and the smell of cat urine was so overpowering it literally burnt our nose; it was room 108. I went to the desk clerk again to let her know we were not accepting this room and she told us a story about people living in that room with cats for three weeks. We were given another room but the carpet was dirty, the mattresses were shifted off the bed, we did not have enough towels, and there was a young boy running around from behind the counter with no shoes on. We will not stay here again and advise others to steer clear of this motel.
