location was great, room was nice, overall the property and employees were very nice.

We were a bit soured upon arrival. We booked a pet friendly hotel. We are traveling with our dogs. We also liked that there was a restaurant in the building. We looked at both of those things when choosing this hotel. The payment was non-refundable. Everything looked great. Upon arrival we were charged $75!!! for a pet fee. We did not find that info anywhere or we may have chosen another option and kept driving. We could not get a refund so we had to pay this fee. Please know, we understand there may be fees. We have been driving across country and staying at multiple hotels. The max we were charged was $25 and it was refunded. We were also charged a $200 hold fee for pets at another hotel but it was taken off our account after we left (and that was clearly stated in the booking of the room). $75 felt like robbery considering we were there for about 13 hrs total. The restaurant has very limited hours. On the website it said they were open until 10pm. It was closed and wouldn't be open til 2 days after we left. ALL fine, but please put clearly state this on the website. Overall it was a good place. The communication would have made it wonderful. A $75 pet fee feels so out of line with the dozen or more establishments we have stayed at not charging anything or refundable fees. Also would have been nice to have the hours/days plainly stated for the restaurant.

Centrally located

Staff were friendly but not knowledgeable. They did not communicate well. We called to ask if there were towels in the pool area and she went to check, came back and told us yes. We go down to swim and the pool is closed for maintenance! Couldn’t she have told us that? Can’t they do the maintenance in between check out and check in time? We picked this hotel specifically because of the pool and were looking forward to swimming.

Hotel was excellent, very clean and pleasant. Holiday decorations were beautiful. Great location.

There was not a complimentary breakfast. The restaurant in the lobby serves a breakfast menu.

While I had a 1AM arrival, I had to wait 15 minutes before I saw an employee to help with checkin. There's no street parking but the hotel does provide a parking pass for a garage on the next city block.
