The location
The musty smells

The apartment was clean and spacious, the location was beautiful. The pool was nice during the hot day. Very great price for the stay, staff was kind and respectful very nice to have valet. The grocery store across the street was very convenient. Walking distance to the nearby beach.

The property is warm but kept up reasonably well. The pool is very nice and the veranda unbearable.
The unit 2238 was a disaster. Dirty, smelly, had roaches and the refudgerstor was failing. The carpet full of mildew and the curling was peeling . We had to buy linens and pillows. In all disgusting. The owner is a horrible person . No help from her!

The property was beautiful and the apartment was neat, clean, and roomy! Staff was very nice and helpful, especially the valet staff! It was also a great price for our stay! Loved the pool!

The palm beach historic hotel and its property is great. but understand the units are all different!
The unit was clean but smelled mold. I complained to the management company before writing this review but they did not seamed to care or want to improve. We paid almost 500 dollars for one night. and slept in wet very mold smelling beds. you don’t want to go on bare feet on their carpet-
the property (hotel) is cute and has much history.
the unit was not renovated which was not a problem but the smell and feel of the beds and carpet was very uncomfortable. I gave a chance to the management to give me some money back or even respond in a caring manner for my feedback but they did not really care - that’s why I am writing so no one goes through the same thing as we did.

I really loved my stay at the apartment! It is on the older side as mentioned but the location makes it completely worth it. Cristina is a sweet and gracious host - she is very knowledgeable and recommended us some great restaurants in Palm Beach and things happening in town. Key pickup at the front desk was simple and the hotel’s facilities (especially the garden) are great. Definitely will be returning soon for a longer stay!

Really nice central location in Palm Beach. You can see everything without the expense of The Breakers! And don't forget the French Bakery as well as the breakfast at Greens Pharmacy. Nice pool and outdoor verandah. Bicycle rental nearby and nice bike trails

The location, pool, lanai, and staff. We love the historical feeling that’s still alive at the hotel.
The entire unit is in need of attention. Very worn in every aspect. No FOB available so had to be buzzed in each time by staff. Parking is an issue and this unit doesn’t come with a pass where all others we’ve stayed at on site have. The AC doesn’t work properly, so it was also very hot in there. Yes it’s a historical hotel, which is why we love staying there, but that does not excuse the lack of care this unit is clearly receiving.

Property is vintage but cool and classy, in a great location. Pool is small but nice. Our rental unit was clean, steps from an ice machine. Even included boogie boards, which we did not use. Fast Wifi and cable TV.
Biggest challenge was the parking; only one or two-hour parking during the day, so you have to move the car. Luckily, there were lots of spots right around the corner, so not the end of the world. The dishes weren't cleaned well, and our rental unit only had a small fridge and two-burner hot plate, no full kitchen. We also ran out of toilet paper!

The apartment was nice and comfortable. Enjoyed the pool and the beach which is 2 blocks away.
Many restaurants in the area and grocery store across the street. Perfect location.

The description stated the unit was not renovated. If it were just old or dated, that would be acceptable, but the unit has peeling paint, bathroom and kitchen caulking that has been applied so much it’s become a gross yellow thickness. The wall behind the toilet isn’t painted at all. There were only 2 clean towels but there were 4 of us. We did find 2 more but they were new and unwashed. The door barely locks and wouldn’t be difficult to push open as there is minimal frame to insert the deadbolt. The hallway on the 2nd floor coming off the elevator has a musty smell and the ice machine did not work at all. Other than the location, it was very disappointing.

The Place is 100yrs old and it shows! The rooms were musty, humid and the carpet was dirty. The toilet stopped flushing, missing some pillow cases. I mentioned it to the desk clerk and she said I'd have to send a message to the owner? I never knew this was an Air B&B!! All in all I appreciate the value, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths in Palm Beach. I'll take the short commings! Joe Kennedy stayed here in the 20's, they need to drop this place and start over!!

Lobby and pool area were very nice.
Apartment was older & smelly, cable in bedroom didnt work, AC could not be turned lower than 72... contacted the property manager and got smart responses.

The urensils and glasses in room were dirty, the toilet didn't work. It was so bad we left a day early. The hosts are combative and refuse to give me a full refund. I was on the phone with booking.com until 2am trying to find a solution. The next day was on hold with booking.com for almost am hour before getting hung up on. No one in the customer service chat can get me a manager to talk to. I'm going to continue to pursue my refund.
