Got back to the room late. Hot water was not working. Took awhile before I figured out to push red button on the water heater to get hot water going.

Quiet, large room with a large fridge. The room was clean and the person I checked in was very friendly and professional. Good value to access Sun Valley ski resort

This was our second stay and everything was as expected. The rooms are clean and everything works great. It's nice to have the fridge and microwave in the room too. The staff was very helpful and worked their tails off doing snow removal everyday to keep the parking lot clear.

The property was set up and decorated very nicely. The room was comfortable and home-like. We loved our stay here. So much better than the Silver Creek Inn, and a lot cheaper.. Worth every penny. Sam was very helpful. We will be staying here again, for sure.

Everything was spot on. We have absolutely no complaints at all.

The bathroom and bedding were absolutely spotless - very impressed. The bathroom also looked as if it had been renovated. It was quiet during our stay (shoulder season). Room definitely large enough for an extended stay, but we were only there for 1 night. Host was friendly. Also appreciated the password-protected internet connection.

A few things need to be fixed (forgot to mention to host): Blinds in the living area did not close. Since our room was next to the fire pit, this would have been bad if it had been high season (when folks most likely would have been enjoying that). Smoke alarm seems a little wonky (patched with tape). A little pricey for what we usually pay, but that area is not cheap and this was the most affordable.

The only negative was that the wall is thin, I could hear the room next door to my room, the TV was on all night long. This kept me awake.

LOL! There was no breakfast, odd question to put in the prompt! The room was clean. Water was hot for showers. Check in was pleasant. Easy location to get to.

Light burned out in "living room" area. Older building and furnishings. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Cost as much as some other very nice motels we stayed at (although that was probably due to the location).

No Heat...moved to a different room. Smelled like cigarettes. Left immediately.

Reception staff was outstanding and helped us with finding some fun and exciting places to visit.

Comfortable stay and the cheapest option in the entire valley.

Locks on the door were all but pointless.

Older motel but everything was in top working shape, comfortable and very clean. Also, had a very enjoyable chat with the owner who gave us a great tip about a thrift shop in Ketchum with great deals on lightly used high-end skis. Saved us wasting money on rental skis which was much appreciated.

Michael in the office was great- Very accommodating, happy to recommend some local spots, a welcoming host. The inn is cute and cozy, beautiful views, our room was very clean, comfortable, perfect for relaxing (super clean bathtub too! 👍) during our ski weekend. Highly recommend Hi Country!

it is located next to the road so unless you get rooms I’m the back the road noise is high. not the fault of the owners

The hotel was easy to make a stay with and no credit card needed to do so. They gave a courtesy call after the stay was booked online, to let us know when they offices closes at night. That was very nice.
