This place is almost like going back in time. You could tell this was probably a cutting edge place back in the sixties, and it is somehow preserved very well, especially inside of the rooms.

It's just a little bit outside of the commercial center of town, and there's a bit of a seedy feel to the place, but we didn't have any issues. There was only one other vehicle in the lot the night we were there.

It's basic, clean, reliable travel lodging. It's a motel that's decades old, that has been kept in decent shape. Are the facilities dated, and maybe needing repair or updating? Sure! Is it a clean, safe place to sleep while traveling? Absolutely. If all you need is a homey place to stay on your travels, this is the place.

Bathrooms (formerly a fancy 'steam bath') are generally worn - wear and tear to doors and tubs are evident, as is drywall damage in the bathrooms. Everything is clean and works, but will be heavily worn.

Older, run down place but good if you’re looking for a cheap place to sleep. The shower if very small. I barely fit. I’m 5’11 205. Don’t expect a nice shower.

The bed smelled like bad feet odor, there was hair all over the restroom. The bathtub had hair all over it. There was also an old leftover coffee in the coffee maker that was moldy. I went to complain after seeing this and the door was locked and no service whatsoever. I Will never stay there again.

The lady who welcomed us was very friendly. Assigned parking. Good water pressure.

They were having trouble accepting credit cards which may have resulted in being charged for two separate nights instead of one night. After arriving home six days later and reviewing all of my charges I noticed the double charge and had the second night’s charge removed. Ice machine in the office was empty.

Comfortable, centrally located motel. Stayed 2 nights. Wifi worked superb, shower head gives a massage. Close to Sugarite Canyon, must see. I love Ratón.

We wanted a clean budget hotel as this met our expectations. The room was clean and all the amenities were available and worked as advertised.

It's an older hotel but it was clean, plenty of towels etc. It was easy to find and parking was great.

No much. For many year we enjoyed staying here on our way to CO from Austin, but the place has gone to hell since the new owners took over two years ago

We booked a room with three beds and half of it, including the bathroom had no power so we had to take a room with only two beds. We had no internet and the owners would not answer the phone when I tried to call them the next morning. They did not offer any reduction in price in spite of all these short comings and problems. Will never stay here again

The price. The AC worked well. The room was clean.

This is a fairly run-down dump. The towels have holes in them, the drain in the shower/tub barely drains, the faucet leaks, light from the street lights comes in through the blinds. The room needs a paint job. Clerk did not answer the doorbell when we arrived at the time the specified for our check-in. I had to call to get her to let me into the lobby. This was at 10:30 PM! She was unaware of our reservation, because she had not checked their Book.com account in the three hours since we made the reservation.

Friendly, clean, comfortable bed, parking outside the door, well lit outside.

Stains on furniture, shower/tub peeling bad, needs replaced.
