Our stay at Lindenwood was so hospitable! From Milan who upgraded our room for us, and the morning lady who saved breakfast (and gave us more), Lindenwood was a dream get a way. I really appreciated the little details to decor and the cozy welcoming ambience. Highly recommend Lindenwood to anyone visiting Acadia!

The staff here were excellent and the service was exceptional. Jim, the owner, graciously helped solve the issue when I had a noise problem at night. The pool is small but very refreshing, and the hot tub was very nice after a long, rainy hike.

Breakfast was cooked for us every morning with lots of fresh fruits and some cakes on the side. The meals were fairly large and balanced. Perfect for getting ready for a hike.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, beautiful home and clean room. Easy access to many trails of Acadia National Park.

Breakfast was good. First day we had a breakfast burrito/taco, fruit, and banana bread. The second day we had blueberry pancakes and fruit. Coffee both days. Coffee bar is always open. Didn't use the bar but it is there and goes by the honor system which is pretty cool. Drink prices were cheap and listed on the wall. Milan was awesome. Super friendly and informative about the area. Gave recommendations and places to check out off the beaten path. Would recommend and stay again. Was about 20-25 minutes from Bar Harbor and had planned to go back there to eat after showering, but ended up just eating near Lindenwood as we were pretty tired from hiking all day.

It felt like staying with good friends. We loved the front porch and the cozy living and dining rooms! Fireplaces everywhere!

The Lindenwood is positively charming! We had room #5 on the second floor with a private balcony and a peak of the harbor. We could hear fishing boats going out early in the morning! The room had lots of windows and a door with a screen that we could leave open all night - fresh air! There was a great shower. The bed was super comfortable and everything was very clean. We couldn't be happier! After biking all day in the park we enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and are looking forward to breakfast this morning. The innkeeper is very friendly and helpful. They have a shared fridge for guests along with an honor system bar. Tea and coffee are always available. They also have a nice sitting room and covered porch for enjoying time in the evening. However, our room was so nice we didn't want to leave. There are some restaurants nearby but note that none of them seem to be open on Monday evening at least past 8.
