Nice view

Poorly designed parking lot, maneuvering was a hassle. I had to call the office twice, two different days in order to get clean towels. On the day we did actually get towels from housekeeping, they didn’t leave any extra toilet paper. When we first came to our room, the shower curtain rod was hanging half way off the wall and I was told they could fix it but they would need to spackle it and we couldn’t stay in the room while it was being fixed and they had no other rooms available at the Anchor Inn but I could get a room at the Marina Bay for an up charge fee. Umm, no thanks. I also think there should be small tables on the balconies to put a drink on when sitting outside.

Breakfast was only okay the first morning, but had a better selection of hot items the second morning. The location was great, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was a little disappointing. The toilet paper holder had been ripped out of the wall by previous guests, the shower water temperature would suddenly go ice cold and then back hot again, and the tub would not drain without holding the lever down. Finally, it would have been nice if the shower had a wand.

This location was such a great little treat. The room was very cozy, updated and extremely clean and the price was excellent. I loved that the little inn was a part of the bigger hotel next door and all amenities of the hotel were included in the inn. Loved the fire pit area overlooking the water. I will definitely be back.

Maybe some more lower carb breakfast items. The only thing I could eat there was the eggs and sausage. However, that is not a complaint at all, because this is a typical breakfast at any hotel. And since I don't eat grains, I'm used to eating what I can or going out or bringing my own stuff. I thought in general the breakfast was good for families.

Was told I could park my boat in the lot at check in. The next day my newlywed wife was rudely informed that trailer parking wasn't allowed by some Cruise Captain. When I went to the front desk I got a "Sorry about that". Had to remove the bathroom sink stoppers to get them to drain. They were packed with mold and hair. Last but not least the bed frame had several metal mounts sticking out 3-4 inches that strike you right in the shins and ankles when walking by or sitting down.
