Room was very bright and clean, given we did not receive a lake view. Small & quaint location perfect for some R&R. The view from the patio was outstanding. We were able to hop on the Shore Path which was awesome. Champagne upon arrival was a nice touch.

There is a cute coffee bar upon entry. However, every time we walked by, whether we were arriving or departing, the staff member was witness lying/slouching over the counter in boredom, which is was a bit distasteful and unwelcoming. We had to park in the parking lot down the road and cross the busy street numerous times due to restaurant traffic holding space in the main lot. Guests should take precedence on parking at the facility. Elevator didn't work intermittently. The room fare was expensive for their offerings (no free breakfast - you don't have to offer much - perhaps some bananas, apples, oranges & muffins). Upon arrival, the front desk clerks heavily scrutinized no smoking on premises, no exceptions, however restaurant goers were smoking outside of the front entrance. Are you catering to the restaurant business or to your Guests? The drive was about 2 miles from downtown without shuttle service from the hotel. I inquired about ubers and taxis and the front desk wasn't aware of any options available. The front entrance & exterior docking/stairs to the water need some attention with a pressure washer, rotting wood. There is constant running water down the concrete making it extremely slippery/slimy, which almost caused my husband and I to fall. Those steps are steep!

We had no complaints. Location is 2 miles from downtown which we walked then took Uber back. Greeted with Champagne at check in…nice touch. Bar was nice. Room was updated.

Thermostat- A/Cwas more like a loud fan never got cold except for bathroom. Not a great night sleep. Screen to balcony had an old magnet closure- useless- when you opened room door from hall the vibration of that door opening would make magnetic screen on balcony loudly snap open ! Balcony was not clean! It had not been wiped down or dewebbed in a while! If you were my guest at my home your rooms balcony would be clean!!! Room also was not vacuumed well found wrappers behind tv stand- ( had to pull that out to unplug tv and plug in to get tv to work) - and many plastic clothes tags pieces on floor. Overall - Room cost was way too high for the quality and comfort we experienced. No coffee ststion open in morning- ??? I guess we just paid for the view. Got there at 4:30 pm checked in and put things in room- happy hour in hotel bar ended at 5 the front desk said…Hurried down - arrived 4:57… girl at hostess stated- oh no Happy Hour specials over. But loved the view not the experience.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was easy to navigate.

Rooms were outdated. There were stains all over the floor and furniture. Balcony hadn’t been swept since Bush was in office. No breakfast at all. TV didn’t work.
