Room was designed nicely.

Hair in the toilet, shredded cheese in the refrigerator and the outside of the refrigerator was very streaky giving an unclean appearance. The pool was so cold it was nearly impossible to swim in as well.

The room was very nice.

Wish they would have informed us that the pool was closed due to maintenance. Very disappointed in the communication they have with their guests.

Breakfast was limited, and was absent on Sunday due to staff shortage. Room had dirty couch, pet pee on floor(smell) and corner trim in room was loose or absent, with adhesive showing. Pool was closed due to repairs.

The lobby was BEAUTIFULLY decorated for the holidays. It made for wonderful pictures. The lobby was very clean and the employees we saw were so very nice. The room was big and clean, and it was a great rate. We had a family member over to exchange Christmas gifts and this room was perfect for us all to sit on the couch, watch movies, play games, etc.

There was something wrong with the heat. It just would not warm up in there and the vents were all blowing ice cold air no matter what we did. I was also told at check in of breakfast being served between a certain time. We went down there a full hour before it was supposed to be closed but there was nothing. The breakfast doors were open but the counters were empty. The hot plates were out but nothing in them, hot sauce was out but nothing to put it on, and the bread case had 2 slices of rock hard stale bread in it. That was it. I understand it’s a pandemic right now and some places are not serving food and that would have been 100% understandable had they not told us there WOULD be breakfast. It also seems a bit ridiculous that we are like 2 months past the time change and all the clocks in the room were wrong. All in all, the problems were small and we will still be back. Nice clean hotels are a treasure in a pandemic and this is still a nice clean hotel. Any other time besides Christmas Day I would have called for maintenance help with the heater but I figured maintenance wouldn’t be working because of the holiday.

The modern style of the hotel was nice

Unclean rooms, broken lamps, burnt out lights, pool and laundry out of order, minimal breakfast that was never restocked, understaffed, overfilling trash cans throughout hotel, and nobody cleaned our room at all during our 4 night stay.

Location is excellent. People are nice

It was close to where I wanted to be for the weekend. The room itself was probably worth the price and for the most part it was nice. The staff was friendly and really seemed to want to help though they did not seem equipped to handle issues.

Many things in my room were broken. One of the lamps did not work and was visibly broken. The TV did not work and when I asked the person from the front desk tried their best to fix it but they did not have the skills. They did not have an empty room to trade so they offered a discount but that discount was never applied and I didn’t feel like arguing with the new staff in the morning. When I went downstairs for breakfast there was nothing there but biscuits and gravy. Everything else was no longer in stock and I would never eat that. Not even a bagel to choose from. Hallway was dirty at times and kids were running up and down my hall until 10 PM but considering my experience with the TV I just left it.

I love everything about the property. Rooms and showers are great!

Breakfast doesn’t start until after I leave for work. Also the people in the room next to me kept me up until after 2:00 in the morning and I had to be up by 5:00 to work surgery.

New hotel with excellent facilities. Room was large, clean, and very comfortable. Loved it so much, residence inn might be my new go to preferred budget stay.

There’s no big ice maker, the only ice maker is the one in the freezer in the room. So if you don’t remember to turn it on... no ice. Just wish there was a backup option for emergencies. And by this “what didn’t you like” you can infer the place really has nothing wrong if I have to complain about an ice maker.

Absolutely nothing.

Everything is falling apart - toilet holder, shower parts etc. This place has apparently had no repairs and maintenance since it was built. The breakfast is a joke. The free breakfast day 1 (at 7am) was a couple of granola bars and some cereal boxes, no milk. I booked a 2BR suite for 4 people months in advance of a large event in the city. I got one room with one bed and of course every hotel on the city was booked so they were unable and unwilling to make it right. Multiple conversations with the hotel and hours on the phone with booking resulted in nothing but blame to the other side for both and nothing done to fix my situation. I will never book with booking.com again and I will never stay at a residence inn again.
