In the shower in room 211 the drain was coming out while we were taking a shower.

While checking in my boyfriend gave my maiden last name and my current last name, and the front desk staff said that he did not say both names. He could not remember how I had booked the hotel, so he was giving both of my names to be on the safe side and front desk. Staff specifically told him he did not say Kirk he only said Linville. And was very rude to him.

My AC at night was not as cool as I thought it would be

I didn’t like the $60 charge for incidentals which was immediate but then told it could take 48 hrs to get the amount credited back. The remote control back was missing the screw so the back kept falling off. The shower gel would not pump no matter what I did. So I had no body products in the shower. The “standard guest” WiFi required a credit card for the free account. That is just ridiculous. I’m not giving them my credit card info. Good free WiFi should be available in all hotels now. Charging for premium WiFi is a joke. Next time this will affect my decision on choosing a Hampton Inn. As it is, I am a HH member but since I used booking.com it did not honor my HH credentials for the upgraded WiFi.

The second room was great, first room wasn't cleaned, leaking air conditioner

Floor puddle, sheets pretty sure hadn't been changed. Batch room no shampoo which says to me room was half cleaned

The complimentary breakfast was good.

The bed was too hard, and the pillows were way too soft. We didn't get a good night sleep.

Room was larger than normal, with a sofa and large work desk. Included breakfast was nice, with multiple waffle makers, and the usual muffins, bagels, eggs, bacon.

Location on frontage road makes it more difficult to get around. To get back to downtown Georgetown, you have to do a big loop.
