Bed too high for 93 yr old, sofa bed too hard for her, didn't sleep well

The property feels very homie. All the amenities were convenient and nice.

This location provided us with grilling options, a hot tub, jetted bathtub, private deck/patio attached to each unit, picnic tables and area and much more.

Loved that the rooms were cozy and updated but still had vintage touches. Kitchen had everything I needed, and refrigerator was apt.-sized and fit all my groceries with plenty of room.

Room needs somewhere to hang-dry towels and wet bathing suits. Finding outlets to plug in chargers was tricky. Perhaps a plug strip at the side of the bed or at the table would help.

Clean & well stocked.

My wife and I have been going there for 10 years. Some reasons are the themes of the rooms and also the books to write in. They took that all away and now it is just a basic cottage nothing worth going back to see on top of all that they raised the room rates. I would have been okay with the room rates if they left the rooms alone. Thank God they kept Ms.Taylor and Ms. Maria or we just would go somewhere else.

check in was as advertised went smoothly. Room clean and well enough equiped we used toaster oven and microwave oven. Bed was comfortable enough. Windows could be opened and were screened. adequate number of cups and plates for 2 people and silverware as well. Staff contacted by phone were friendly and helpful. Also met owner who was gracious and when I mentioned the room was cold when we arrived she said she would talk with the manager and remedy that in the future.

kitchen space was small as a consequence small refrigerator was on the floor requiring you bend down to get things out. We were upset the room was ice cold on the frigid day we arrived and took over an hour to get it warm enough to take our coats off, mentioned it to owner she said she would remedy that in the future. A sign on the door said please remove shoes before you enter room, we of course could not remove them until we entered as there is no overhang and it was raining.

The rooms were clean, the staff was great, and location was very good. he kitchen was well stocked and the grounds were nice, and the pet policy was wonderful. They gave treats , towels and sheets to put on the bed to protect the bedspread.

My room was too close to the road and the bed was a little too soft for my preferences. Next time Ill ask for a room further from the road. Room was kind of bare minimum. Would have been nice to have a rug. I think some of the rooms were larger.

Check-in was easy! Easy access to Fort Bragg and Mendocino.

Somewhere comfortable to sit and relax that isn't on the bed! The shower was very small, the shower curtain wasn't long enough so it was difficult to keep it in the shower basin without water escaping. It wasn't made very clear that the hot tub was communal, when booking, room 6 was the only room that supposedly had a hot tub, which was why we booked that one. The occupant of room 7 had his truck backed in close to our front door and let it run in the early morning for approximately 30 minutes, very annoying and rude.
