It was close to the airport - as expected and wanted. I was surprised that the constant noise throughout the night from the airport was pretty much blocked by the very well insulated windows (double - double glazed). From my point of view everything was definitely clean. I can't say much about the location as we did not stay for long, but in the morning we saw a beautiful neighborhood with astonishing houses around, close to the sea. So, definitely a nice place to go for a walk if you do not mind the busy airport nearby, which is also interesting to watch, I guess.

This is no B&B as you would expect it to be after having travelled Europe. In the end it seems to be a family house in the first place with three or maybe four rooms scattered in-between private rooms. This needs to be separated as you do not feel welcomed and rather uncomfortable with all the "private" signs around you, especially when you have to walk the hallway to get to the bathroom. Due to our flight schedule we did arrive late shortly before 10 pm (as announced) and any B&B owner in UK or Germany would have still welcomed you at that time. Assuming that the owners are living in the private rooms, they definitely must have heard us coming in and it wouldn't have killed them to stick their head out for a quick hello. An added bonus was some squeaky noise from one of the private rooms and directly next to our headboard, that started at midnight and woke us up, going on for 20 minutes or so and again after 4 am. So we left very early without breakfast and did not see anybody. On a sidenote - my wife and I felt very uncomfortable being filmed on our walk to the bathroom by an automated camera in the hallway - is that even legal under these circumstances?

Nice and peaceful guesthouse close to the airport in a residential neighbourhood.

Lovely location and neighborhood

The house is near to Logan airport, a short drive after a long flight. The room is soundproof so you can’t hear the aircraft. It’s almost on the water so the sea is lovely to walk to. Its decor is quirky, it is welcoming and homely. The in-room air conditioning worked very well.Breakfast was excellent with very good coffee and our host was very attentive and friendly. The procedure for arrival was efficient and easy to follow as was the allocated private parking.

The private bathroom is not en-suite but across the landing, but we knew that when we booked and it’s not really a problem.

Distance to airport

Ceiling fan above bed didn't work while it was a very hot day/night. AS a result I had not much sleep.

The chocolate brown sheets were a turn off

I expected a lot more. in the room aside there was a mess for two hours at night. bad breakfast. the owner made us feel uncomfortable. rather dirty. pity, the village is fantastic. I asked to have breakfast before 8.30 but nothing.

The bed was old and made noise every time someone moved in the night. Couldn't use the AC as it was so loud.
