We booked our room at least two months in advance for WKU parent weekend. We were told when we arrived to check in (around 10pm) that “We’re sorry, but something happened and your room was pushed through, so there is a room at Candlewood Suite next door that we arranged for you.” The tone that was used, was not an apologetic tone, but more of a “oh well, step to the side” tone. We were tired and went to Candlewood, where we had to give our card and another $50 was put on the card. There was no compensation, no anything by Hilton. I will never stay at another Hilton, if there is another option. This was very poor customer service. To make matters worse, another couple visiting their college kid, experienced the same.

the Home2 Suites looked very nice however, when we arrived they said they overbooked and gave us a room next door. it was definitely not a comparable room. it we had no choice as it was late and couldn’t drive home.

the property they booked us didn’t smell good, I booked a king bed and they only had queens.

Rooms were spacious and breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from.

The hotel allows animals and I was not aware. It was a dog in the room next to us barking every time we moved.

Nice, clean facility, friendly staff, roomy and clean room. We liked how dark it stayed, even in the morning. The little kitchenette was an added bonus!

Everything was pretty great, the only thing I would say is that there was quite a bit of outside noise.

The pool

Nothing when it comes to the room it sinks like dogs poop.it was not clean,the pull out couch had a dirty cover pad still left on from who ever rented the room,there was used tea bag in the ice container that had a bad smell that had to be there for awhile,it was very disappointed I will never rent there again.

The night front desk clerk had zero personality and reluctantly made and effort to find me an ice bucket. Clearly did not care one way or the other.

Good price for my family of 6. Loved the pool!

Room was a little dirty. Toilet paper rolls were half used upon arrival and bathroom had a septic smell the whole time. We will look for a hotel with a hot tub in the future. Really would have loved if the pool room had a hot tub.

Waffles were incredible!

Bed was average at best....bottom sheet would not stay tucked in...too short for large king bed. Also, when I Googled property "bookings.com" came up and price was higher than direct cost at hotel. Also, because of this no HHonors points because of 3rd party booking....not good and no notice to this fact.
