Absolutely amazing view and love the architecture

Het is een pracht locatie. Je kijkt heel mooi uit over de zee en je bent in no time in het centrum. De hotelkamer is voldoende ruim. Super voor voor elkaar!

De hotelkamers zijn ietwat gedateerd, kleuren uit de 70'er jaren. En waar ik nog het meest een hekel aan heb is douchen in bad. Dat was de enige tegenvaller.

Locatie is top Uitzicht is fantastisch Groot terras Grote kamer en badkamer

Zwembad pas open vanaf mei. Jacuzzi werkte niet Ontbijt redelijk duur

Najlepsza lokalizacja w mieście Taormina. Bardzo uczynny, przyjazny i sympatyczny personel zarówno w recepcji, jak i w restauracji. Dobrej jakości śniadania. Przestronny, bardzo wygodny pokój z pięknym widokiem i dużym tarasem. Hotel jest bardzo ciekawie zaprojektowany i fantastycznie się w nim mieszka.

Hotel nie ma parkingu dla gości, jednak oferuje dodatkowo płatną usługę odprowadzania i przyprowadzania auta. Jest to pewna niedogodność ale to normalna sytuacja, gdy chcesz mieszkać w centrum Taorminy. Być może warto już pomyśleć o pewnym odświeżeniu obiektu.

Fantastic view, comfortable room, very good breakfast. The downtown area was within just a few meters. Although very quiet surrounding.

The hotel is a bit run down and should be renovated.

The swimming pool turned out swimwear green. Very steep road down to the hotel.

No parking. The closest parking is 1km from the hotel. They should also make it much clearer how to get to the hotel. The address will take you to the wrong place. (Where you need to climb stairs)

Monte Tauro is a hotel in Taormina with a perfect location- near to city centre but no traffic or noices are there at night. View is absolutely amazing. Staff was nice and kind.

Some ants were in hotel room but I think thats an usual problem in hotels. Housecleaning didnt change bed sheets even once, even if we did ask for it.

we loved the location and view from the property. having a swimming pool whilst being in the heart of Taormina was a lovely balance of holiday, relaxation and exploring. Also having the public gardens above the hotel was nice to explore.

our view was fairly restricted just because of the room we were in. perhaps we were unlucky with this but a shame for us

The location being close to the town and a good choice of restaurants. The views were fabulous.

Very friendly staff, a place with a great view (and panoramic elevator), super close to Corso Umberto. Definitely recommend the hotel!

Our room was huge with a large balcony and sea view. Bed was comfy and bath and shower were great. The free sweets and apples in reception were a welcome addition!

It was really quiet when we were there but the balconys are very overlooked by the lift and neighbouring balconys. If possible ask for a room on the right hand side of the hotel (when looking out to sea!)

Not much. The view. I include two pictures taken from our balcony, but none of the hotel as it gave me no reason to take any. The hotel has massive potential for improvement, but needs someone to really think about it. There is a great restaurant not far away, but it does require walking up the very steep driveway again.

The hotel is perched on a very steep hillside. The access isn't immediately obvious as possible to drive down, being extremely steep with steps (but the steps are in the middle so car tyres can actually pass either side). It requires a three point turn to face the driveway on the right, ( the passenger side) , making it almost impossible to see without getting out to check. It could do with a sign to say that it can be accessed by car. Consequently I left the car some distance away in an unsatisfactory place as the roads are very narrow. I am disabled with an artificial leg, and while I went to get the car as my wife and son checked in, the last two parking places were taken, requiring me to go to a local garage and pay 20 euros for the night, and walk back 200 metres on an extremely steep road. Breakfast was extra, and the restaurant reminiscent of an airport cafeteria. There was no offer to compensate us for the problems we had. In addition to the parking, these were: Firstly, on entering the room we noticed there was a window between the bathroom and the bedroom. This afforded no privacy, and a blind was stuck in the open position. Unable to fix it myself, we waited for someone to come and do it. They managed to close it, but it was still inoperable should anyone want to open it again. Number two, while we were standing on the balcony the irrigation system for plants came on, and a pipe burst on the floor above, requiring us to dive for cover. Owing to my disability I chose this hotel as it had a bath. (I can't stand or access a shower on one leg). What I didn't know until later in the evening was that it didn't have a plug! Then at midnight we were woken by the noises of returning guests reverberating through the hard surfaces of the corridor and floor above. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and lastly, the decor was drab, dull and lacking any softness. The one great thing about the place was the view of the sea and Mount Etna.

the views were incredible, and the location was perfect for our needs. the staff was wonderful throughout, facilitating an early checkin in our first day, answering questions, providing friendly service.

the hill was a really steep climb. repairs to the room were poorly done.
