This place was perfect for my family of 4 and my mother to spend a few days enjoying the Wells Area. Beach was great for kids and a very manageable walk. House was clean and had everything we needed for a fun comfortable stay. We would return for sure.

We love this house and location. Has everything you need for the perfect Maine vacation. Short walk to the beach and quick drive to restaurants and shops. Patti is a super responsive host if you ever need anything!

We had a fantastic stay @ Pattis cottage . The cottage is well maintained, well built , clean and comfy. The cottage is located on a a short walk to the beach and conveniently close by to Kittery and York . I would love to stay here again.

We had a lovely week at Patti's cottage. It is located on a quiet street with spectacular views of the marsh, and a short walk to Moody Beach. The house is well taken care of, spacious, and has everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The kitchen is well appointed which we really appreciated since we do a lot of cooking. We really enjoyed the roof deck, and we saw beautiful sunsets over the marsh and loved being able to hear the waves crashing from the nearby ocean. We would highly recommend!

We found this house to accommodate 6 adult family members traveling from Boston and San Francisco to attend an outdoor family wedding in the area. It was perfect. The 3 large bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the open floor plan accommodated our family meals perfectly. Two bathrooms and a large well-appointed rooftop deck rounded out our 5 star experience. And we were less than a 5 min walk to the beach. The house was well stocked and we wanted for nothing. It was close to the beach and Route 1 so easy access to all the nearby attractions you may want to see. We would highly recommend it and will definitely keep it on our short list for the next visit. Thank you Patti for being so accessible, accommodating, and allowing our family to reconnect during this unprecedented time.

We had a great week at Patti's home. The property was nicely decorated and super clean. Did not have to do much baby proofing for my two-year-old twins and no stairs inside which is a bonus at this age. You can't beat the location - truly a 5 minute walk to to the beach. It was perfect and we would definitely recommend this property. Thank you!

The cottage was much nicer in person than the online description. It was very clean, the kitchen appliances were modern, and the heating and cooling systems seemed more than adequate, although we had lovely weather and did not really need them. Only suggestion: a couple more folding chairs would have been useful.

We enjoyed our second stay here! The interior looked even nicer than last time and we really enjoyed the comfortable beds, attractive living area, lovely deck, and of course lots of wonderful beach time. Thanks for providing such a great space.

This house was perfect for our family’s needs! We had our two children with us (ages 2 and 3 months) and the house was perfect. The walk to the beach was great, along with a cozy open floor plan. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Maine!

This home was perfect for our family. It was a quick walk to the beach (kids didn't even complain). We found it clean and had all the supplies you might need for a fun week near the ocean. The roof top deck was a huge bonus. It was perfect for coffee in the morning, and a cocktail in the evening. Patti was extremely responsive before and during the trip if we had any questions.

We chose to stay again this summer after we loved our time last year. The house is comfortable and cozy with a quick walk to the beach. Moody beach is one of the nicest beaches in the area too, close to everything! Very easy stay with 2 kids!

We were two mom friends with 3 kids, age 10 - 13. Property was clean and as advertised, very well stocked kitchen, ample sheets and towels for all of us, and host was wonderfully responsive. There was a problem with the grill, and by the next day a brand new grill had arrived amd was all set up. She provided quick responses and recommendations. Only thing missing was a beach buggy to cart all our equipment to the beach, which is about a 10 min walk with kids. But the gorgeous beach was worth the walk!

One of my favorite beach houses to stay at. Nice, comfortable, homey, and well stocked. Rooftop deck is better and bigger than the pictures show. Great for our family and close to everything. Patti was very responsive and helpful. Check in and out very easy. Definitely recommend staying here; but go to the public beaches like North, Footbridge, and Drakes Island. Beaches are nicer, less crowded, and don’t have to deal with the very possessive Moody Beach home owners (those right on the beach).

I stayed at this house with my husband, 2 year old son and another couple. The location is a short 5 minute walk to moody beach which is a great beach for families. The house is located on a quiet dead end street which was great for us because we had a small child with us. When we initially checked in, there was a miscommunication with the cleaners and our house had not been cleaned yet but Patti was very quick to respond and rectify the situation. Our house was clean by the time we got back from dinner and she was excellent at communicating the plan to us. The house also has a roof deck with partial views of the marsh, great for relaxing on at the end of the day! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

We love the location of this house! Quick walk to Moody beach, which is so beautiful and not crowded. Convenient drive to other points of interest - Ogunquit, Kennebunk, hiking in the preserves. Close to Congdons doughnuts too! Patti’s house was great for our family - clean, new furniture in the dining room and family room, everything we could need. Great rooftop, too! We would love to return!

Wells is absolutely beautiful! You are close to everything here. The first thing you need to know you can only access the beach Moody beach, by public walkways, which are three. But if you get up early, you can drive to Orunquit beach parking lot, which is 2 minutes away pay for parking but so worth it. You can take everything with you park it and walk to the beach. No hassle. The house was very clean and very charming. All the bedrooms are spacious and MATTRESSES are to die for. I have to ask where she bought those. You have everything, from seasonings to cookware to dishes, wine glasses, everything you can think off. There only 1 full bathroom, and half a bath in the laundry area, but it worked out, and we were 4 adults a toddler and a child. Being at the end of the dead end street gives you added privacy. Patti was so nice and friendly! We couldn't get the TV to get volume, and we called her and she immediately called back and walked us through the process. As you know with kids you need a TV. You have a new sofa in the living room. AND you will get a new dining room set soon! If I could add constructive advice would be to take out the extra chairs and seating from the deck and just leave add more adirondack chairs. These were so beautiful and comfortable. Overall my family and I will be heading back next year! This time for more days absolutely!

House was super cute and clean, spacious, plenty of room for the kiddos and us, great kitchen and an amazing 2nd floor deck. You can hear the ocean from the house, in a really pretty spot by the marsh (sunsets were gorgeous). Check-in was incredibly easy, check out had super clear directions, and the host had a prompt response to my message, so the whole process was so simple. Would love to come back!

We had a great time, kids loved it and everyone slept comfortably. Short walk to the beach and easy drive to everything.

Our girls getaway was amazing. House is perfectly located on quiet dead end road with short walk right to the beach. House was very clean and spacious. We welcomed ever morning with coffee on the rooftop deck and strolled the beach every evening. Worth every penny and would highly recommend.

The house was great for kids a safe neighborhood to bike and scoot around. You have to navigate the beach due to it being private but we just found a house under construction to sit in front of. The outdoor shower wasn’t working or Inclosed. That would be the only thing that would be an improvement for sandy kids. Otherwise it was great and very relaxing

Located just two blocks from the ocean (accessible by public way down the road), this cottage is comfortable and provided ample space for my husband and I and our two older sons. We loved the roof deck for morning coffee and evening drinks. We could have used a couple of heavier blankets on the beds, but rooms were comfortable. It was a bonus to have a washer and dryer in the house! We did have a paddleboard and needed to drive it out to Bourne Bridge to put into the river, but that was fine, and well worth the paddle down to OGT beach during high tide. We would absolutely rent again!

We loved this clean, comfortable cottage and especially the roof deck, great for drinking your morning beverage in the midst of the trees. Being towards the end of the road right next to the marsh was a treat. It was a small disappointment that the closest beach access, to Moody Beach, is a private beach where only walking is permitted. However, Ogunquit's North Beach parking is right down the road and provided hours of fun for our kids on a truly spectacular beach. We also explored at the nearby Estuarine Reserve and the Wells Jetty. This is a beautiful area and a lovely home to visit.

Stayed 4 days. House is well-equipped and within walking distance from public way (5-10 min walk). Particularly nice is the rooftop deck which allows for outdoors eating. There are beach chairs, boogie boards and 2 bbq units. Quite easy to check in and out. Owner sent ahead of time instructions. House was clean and comfortable. Potential points for improvement;: -The pictures are nice but the house is not directly on the marsh so call and inquire before bringing your kayak. -the rooftop desk while nice gas no protection from the sun. We used our beach umbrella but it was not ideal -The range is tricky to figure out, so is the Tv. , written instructions would helo. We would rent this unit again

The property was as described and the owner was quick to get back to me when I had questions. The home was welcoming and kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Beds were comfortable. A very nice neighborhood and close to the beach.

Loved Wells Maine! This property was perfect. We brought my 92 year old mother and having everything on 1 floor was great. It’s proximity to the beach and the wildlife reserve was wonderful. Also we were only staying for 4 nights so being able to get a place this close to the ocean during the season for the 4 nights was perfect as well. Would visit again.
