Ontzettend vriendelijk ontvangst en een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei. Het appartementje was ondanks dat het vrij gedateerd is, super schoon en van bijna alles voorzien.

Meneer en mevrouw spraken alleen Spaans, waardoor het af en toe lastig was te communiceren. Maar Google Translate is dan zeker een uitvinding! ;) Daarnaast zijn de laatste meters om er te komen niet heel prettig. Heel smal en stijl! Maar met een 4x4 zeker wel goed te doen.

Sehr, sehr netter Gastgeber!! Spricht kein Englisch aber mit Google-Übersetzer klappte es sehr gut 😃 Sehr grosses Bungalow (waren zu zweit, wäre für 4 Personen) selber gekocht und in der nähe kleine Restaurant. Gute Lage für den Vulkan Irazú

The best thing about this place are the hosts. they adopted us as part of their family, and we really felt like we were living with them. they are very knowledgeable about the area, and extremely helpful in anticipating all our needs. we are avid birdwatchers, and they brought in their son in law who is an expert bird photographer. at the same time, our room was private if we wanted it, and the birds in this property are very diverse. the kitchen had everything needed. the bathroom had a great shower.

the access road is a bit difficult and a 4x4 is recommended. Though there are good restaurants in the area, I recommend bringing food with you so you don’t have to drive it in the dark.

Needed to pay the commission of booking.com which is not correct. Needed to pay in cash. Little bit scary if you are not used to drive in the mountains on a gravel road

We had a wonderful stay. Rolando and his wife were very accommodating and made us feel at ease from the first moment on. They even made us a tea with herbs from their own garden. The view from the balcony is amazing! However, the path to the villa is quite adventurous- especially if you are coming from Turrialba! A 4x4 is highly recommended. We extend our stay as we loved it there. We highly recommend staying at Villas Valle Bello!

Nothing to complain about!

This is an AMAZING place to stay and the staff are the ones who make it perfect! They are the real charm of the place, without them this place wouldnt be as welcoming and charming as it is! A huge thank you to both of them

The way there, there is nooooo way for you to get there if you dont have a 4x4, it is impossible to go by any other means of transportation or a sedan car

Rolando the caretaker and his wife are the friendliest of people. They really make you feel like family. The view from the villa is what is called a million dollar view. This may not be a five star hotel, or even a four star, but what do you expect for this money. We've stayed at such places during our trip in Costa Rica, but this was by far the best.

Nothing, but I do have a caution: Don't even try to get here without at least a small 4x4. You will damage your car otherwise.
