My family and I (6 adults) enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay at this beautiful property last week. We would highly recommend the property for exploring the surrounding South of France or for perhaps a week of relaxing by the pool. Everything we hoped for and more. Thank you to Christian and his wife for being so friendly and accommodating at our arrival and departure too.

This is the second time we've stayed at this property, both times for 2 weeks, and it always surpasses our expectations. The description on the website is accurate, but doesn't explain just how wonderful it feels to stay there! The very generous living space and large circulation areas make the house feel very luxurious, and the bathrooms are wonderful. The kitchen's well kitted out, in terms of both equipment and crockery etc - and the large utility room is brilliant for keeping swimsuits and washing out of sight. The lighting is hugely flexible, so you can have it bright or not, in different areas of the living spaces at the same time. You can also light the garden and the pool flexibly too, which looks very beautiful. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and has sliding doors directly onto the garden - a perfect way to start the day by strolling out - and there's also a smaller window which makes it easy to have a window open at night. Perhaps even more impressive is the garden, you could easily spend your whole time admiring the plants and garden design. There's plenty of space to sit for sun and shade alike - with a brilliant bamboo-type covered eating area to keep the heat of the sun at bay, and comfy loungers for the sun seekers - all the time admiring that fabulous view. The sky really is huge! The pool is simply divine, long enough to swim properly, and really wide too, I never wanted to get out. The walk into Vence is 10 minutes, through very pleasant quiet, residential areas, it feels very safe. The walk back to the house gently slopes upwards, with just a very short steeper stretch, which is very manageable. You could certainly stay here without a car if you were happy to walk to and from Vence for eating and shopping, as we did, and the local buses are easy to use for exploring further afield. The friendly and helpful owners made the whole booking process a pleasant experience. It's also well worth picking their brains for the best beaches in Cap d'Antibe for a day trip. I can't recommend this house enough, and while we've been lucky enough for just 2 of us to stay there, it would work really easily for larger groups too. I really hope we're able to stay here again. If you get the chance to book it, I'd go for it!

This was the third time we have stayed at this villa. It is ideally placed for visiting the South of France. The owners are a real delight and their attention to detail will always make ones stay very memorable. The Villa is well appointed and family friendly with a large pool directly outside with ample seating areas around it. Their listing description is a very accurate so no suprises. A car is essential.
