Very nice home beside a small lake. Neighborhood is quiet, excellent area for biking and there were a few restaurants/bars just a three minute bike ride away. Short walk to beach. Would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful time Beth.

Located in a nice quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the beach. Literally the perfect combo for a family get away. Pet friendly too. With a yard for the kids and the dog to play in and everything you need plus some extras. Literally a 3 to 5 minute walk to the beach. It was clean and easy to keep clean. If we ever come back to Surfside we will definitely try to book this place again!

Subjecting my family to this house was a complete embarrassment. I am very skeptical of the posted reviews based on the condition of this house. The house appears, on line, as a quaint vintage beach house but in reality is a house that has not been updated (except for a few select items) in far too many years. Many fixtures in the house actually look original including the badly painted cabinetry. The furniture was soft seating and extremely warn and old. The ceiling has been patched multiple times due to water damage, the air duct vents in the ceiling are black with mold and constantly drip water. You had to be very careful in the master bedroom of sitting any personal items in the floor due to the water. The master bedroom had a strong odor of ‘dirty feet’. We opened the windows, sprayed Lysol and mopped the floor to no avail. Finally we washed the comforter which fixed the problem. The old HVAC unit is in an alcove type space on the main floor covered with a curtain. You can’t sleep due to the recurring loud noise generated, from what we think, was a pump device. The china, glass, silverware was all extremely cheap. The price point on this house was extremely high and I literally felt cheated. The house is in a great area but in need of aggressive repair/updating and some serious thought put into the guest experience for that price point.

Very good rental. Only problem was the previous renter didn’t cleanup after their dog so we had to do a sweep of the yard first.( big dog that ate a lot!!)

We rented the house after our May vacation was postponed due to Covid. We own a camper and usually camp at Huntington and our grown children get their own place.
This older but well maintained and exceptional clean home was a God Send. The owner goes above and beyond to make your stay one of the best. As some beach homes it is nestled in between other homes that our occupied by owners. The top level is very accommodating and the lower has two bedrooms and it’s own bath. We rented golf carts and was just a short stroll to public access beach with golf cart parking.
One of the big plus’s for us was that once we received the contact information it was actually the owner and found out she cleans the home herself and you can tell the difference. I would highly recommend this for your next family vacation.

Amazing family property!
This home is absolutely beautiful. We stayed this past week, with family and children. It is nothing short of the photos. It was clean, and stocked with items for us to use. Such as cleaning supplies, outdoor games, extra blankets & towels, and a whole lot of stuff in the kitchen (crock pot, regular & kuerig coffee machine, pots and pans, utensils dishware) also beach chairs and umbrellas. There is so much seating space, and extra beds for use. The neighborhood is very quiet which was nice for our family. It was also 2 blocks from the ocean, which is a quick walk. I contacted the property manager prior to the trip and she was very nice. This home was just perfect, and we will definitely book again if we ever get the chance.

This home is everything it advertised that it was! Gorgeous home, steps from the beach. I would definitely rent this beautiful home again. I rented from 9-13-19 thru 9-21-19. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations.

Beth was amazing to work with!
This Property was fantastic! The house was clean and everything you needed was right there, even the coffee pot was top of the line. Beth even had beach toys which was great, for we used the corn hole set which was fun. Beth was pleasant - unfortunately Evolve changed the date in the system to Friday so it put all of us in to a tailspin - Evolve said they had a glitch in the system and should have contacted me asap. They did not and this is not good business. This was not the property manager's fault.

Awesome spot seconds from beach
We loved everything about our stay at this beautiful house in Surfside Beach. There is plenty of room to spread out in the living area, on the deck, or on the spacious downstairs patio. The bedrooms are comfortable and accommodating. Several bars/restaurants within walking distance and the beach is only about two blocks away. Market is a quick Uber ride to stock up the fully equipped kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet and house is tucked away for privacy. We loved playing bocce on the lawn and watching sunsets with the geese on the waterway. If you're considering this property, look no further! You won't be disappointed!

Beth was awesome to deal with! This was a meeting place for family from IL, GA, & NC. We loved the layout of the place for our accommodations! Everything was as described and better! The place was very clean. We had an issue with the cable, I contacted Beth and she was right on the problem. Hope to return in the future!!

We stay in Surfside everytime we come to SC and this has been by far our favorite place to stay. The house with an open floor plan was updated and clean and our dogs loved it . We sat on the huge deck underneath the fans every morning with our coffee. Loved that the house provided linens. We had 2 mechanical issues 2 days in a row and Beth was right there to fix them. Really appreciated that. We rented a golf cart to get around but the beach was literally a block away. The back of the house had some amazing natural backdrops for pictures. We already scheduled our vacation here next year before we left.

We stayed for 8 days encompassing Thanksgiving Nov. 2014. Was able to cook a turkey and have dinner with our son who lives nearby. Walking to the beach daily was amazing and so close. Everything is there..just bring yourself and your clothes. Our dog and cat both settled in and enjoyed it. We lived in Surfside for nearly 2 years but in a condo and then a house. Not this close to the ocean. In this apartment we felt like we were truly beach living. The most relaxing time we have had in so long! You hear the ocean when on the front porch and see the lake from the sun room. All in all it is a great place and this is a place we could move into year round and be happy in all honesty. NOT your hotel atmosphere, and that is what was so great! Restaurants and shopping very close! Great beds! Thanks Beth!!

I do not have enough room here to describe this house! Beth has thought of practically everything. We have stayed in condos on timeshare and have rented from other individuals and there hasn't been any place better, pure and simple. It was extremely clean, roomy, and cheerful. We took our Jack Russell and he loved it as much as we did, especially the front porch. There is even a gate so he was able to sit on the porch without having to be tied up. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. There are several mini parks close by and low enough on traffic that it is safe to walk, even at night. There were plenty of towels and hand and dish soap were provided as well as other things you may not expect. Close by to shopping and restaurants, Surfside is the perfect family beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach between sometime in May through sometime in September (sorry, do not remember exact dates). However, Garden City is just down the road where dogs are allowed all year, except between the hours of 10-5 during the summer months. There is free parking there at Calhoun Street, on both sides. I definitely recommend staying here. Again, I could keep on.....

Just got back from a week at this wonderful respite! Always a cool breeze on the porch and has absolutely everything you need! The owner is wonderful and really makes you feel welcomed and Glenda, her sister-in-law downstairs, is perfect company! I will certainly return here where pets are welcomed and the living is easy!
