Super helpful staff and amazing location

Everything is great

Amazing location which could t be any better if you want to go the Guggenheim. The hotel also had a modern art twist with a distinct theme running through it. The staff were really pleasant and the downstairs + roof top bar were a nice addition.

This is not a 5 star hotel and is not the worth the money especially for the the more premium rooms. Specifically the premium rooms are not that big ( had mid sized suites at other 5 star hotels which are much bigger) and there were annoying points like there being over 10 different light switches in a room ( some for just 1 light). The ambience of the hotel as you arrive is also not 5 star standard and more akin to a 4 star.

Excellent location for the Guggenheim museum and the tram to the old town. Great valet parking. Outstanding terrace for cocktails and breakfast looking over to the Guggenheim. Wonderful staff. If you are arriving by car go to the rear entrance where there is space on the roadside.

Friendly and courteous service. Staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to look after guests - both at reception and the 7th floor restaurant. Fantastic location.

Absolument tout ! Emplacement, propreté, personnel efficace sympathique et très au petit soin sans être « pompeux ». Beauté de la chambre avec vue sur le musée incroyable! Restauration au top, petit déjeuner au rooftop fantastique.

What did we like? Everything, this is how you run a Hotel. OK it has a fantastic location opposite the Guggenheim Museum, which is actually more an Art Gallery than a Museum. But it doesn't rest on those laurels, like one Hotel on this trip. Of the 8 Hotels we stayed in through Spain and Portugal, this was hands down the best. From being greeted at the entrance, having our car parked for us ( thank you Diego) and the bags immediately taken tour room (thank you Jorge), to the very pleasant welcome from Carolina, we could tell immediately how good our experience would be. The room, overlooking the Guggenheim was a little cramped but beautifully presented, the bathroom more than making up for that. We loved the shower and bath above the wooden slatted floor acting as the drain, a very nice design touch with the electric blinds attention to detail. Breakfast on the roof terrace was icing on the cake. Everything worked seamlessly, the view was stunning, the staffs attention to detail impeccable. Highly recommended by seasoned travellers who have stayed in some spectacular accommodation. It was that good.

Breakfast good but chaotic at times.

Great location for Guggenheim with parking. Tram stop gives easy access to old town. Good restaurant and friendly helpful staff. Large comfortable room. Great that we were able to use the sauna and steam room nude.

Breakfast too expensive so we went to a bakery round the corner for a fraction of the price.

Very nice room, large and comfortable. Fantastic view to the museum of course. And the staff is charming, very helpful.
