Friendly staff. Shuttle bus to the station. Room was very clean.

We've stayed in a number of similar hotels on this trip through Japan and felt the Onomichi Kokusai Hotel was the least comfortable one: our double bedroom seemed very cramped - a single used to accommodate two people. Breakfast was relatively expensive but offered hardly any choice with times being very rigid. It's a 15 - 20 minutes walk from the station, port and bicycle rental shops.

Small room and overall a bit old

Compared to most hotels listed here at booking.com, this one's quite far from the town center. I didn't really mind because of the shuttle service to and from Onomichi station. There's a lounge you can use for drinks. We were hesitant to go because of the pandemic, but there's it was empty when we went.

Love the delicious breakfast and it consists of various best Japanese authentic foods. Hotel also provides free shuttle for my delegations to our dinner venue. Thanks for the hospitality, Kokusai Onomichi Hotel!
