This location was wonderful. The upper porch looked out on the lake with enough furniture that everyone was comfortable. The lower porch had plenty of shade when it was needed and I was almost disappointed that it didn’t rain because it would have been a fabulous place to enjoy a storm. The 7 of us slept very comfortably on beds without using any of the 3 pull-out mattresses that were available. The cottage exuded traditional family cottage feel, and when the grandparents visited we comfortably sat 11 for dinner. The kitchen was well provisioned (with the single exception of a cheese grater). We rented the pontoon boat and made good use of the kayaks. It was so lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed the water-ski show on Thursday at the lakeside park and were fortunate to be there during the Taste of Lake Country festival. It remained quiet at the house even during the festival. We had a young train enthusiast with us and he was delighted to dash out to the porch whenever a train whistle sounded, to watch the train pass on the opposite side of the lake. The distance to the tracks over the water made it only a pleasant sound rather than an annoyance. Only downside at all was the stairs to the water were a bit difficult for the elderly- it was truly a wonderful week.

Home was meticulously clean and very well stocked. We bought our groceries for daily meals but spices, cleaning items, towels (including beach towels), lots of games and kids toys were all there for us. Views from the deck are breathtaking!!! Lots of comfy furniture out there and lots of memories made. As described there are lots of stairs - 1 flight to get to main level of house, 1 flight to lowers level, and about 2 more flights down to water’s edge but for the view it’s a good trade off. We rented their pontoon boat for the week and it was wonderful. Only disappointment was our 7 year old grandson had been able to tube behind the one we rented last year and this contract forbid that. Easily solved by renting one for an afternoon from the marina. Probably 2 weeks next summer as we love Pewaukee Lake!

Met here to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday and we had a wonderful time. The deck was amazing and we loved using the pontoon boat. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We left something at the house and he mailed it back to us by Fedex. Highly recommend staying here!

We have 4 young boys and they absolutely loved the home…they loved the great fishing…and they loved the pontoon boat experience. We had a great stay at this lake house. The property was well maintained and the owner was incredibly responsive and helpful! It's so nice to have an option to rent a boat when staying at a lake. Pewaukee has such a wide selection of restaurants that you can boat over to. The large patio is lovely for morning coffee and evening sunsets. There are some steepish steps that you need to take from the driveway to the house and from the house to the lake so it wouldn't be ideal for anyone with limited mobility but I'd recommend it to anyone else!

We rented this property on very short notice but can't say enough about the property and how it was managed. The home is clean and modern with great lake access. The boat rental was a plus and along with that came many toys like kayaks and floats. My wife, kids and grandchildren really enjoyed our week. The fishing off the dock was great for the kids catching as many sunfish as we wanted to. Swimming off the dock was fun and Brian was incredibly responsive, kind and helpful. We would return happily to this gem of a vacation spot just a short drive from the Chicago area.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. Brian was easy to get a hold of for any questions we had. Our favorite spot was out on the deck in the morning and for the beautiful sunset at night. There were plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. We would definitely stay again.

This was a fantastic property! Clean and comfortable, plenty of space and beautiful! Loved our little get away there!

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. It was great to host friends and family. The high quality of the furnishings from the towels to the cookware was much appreciated. Our owners obviously took care to make sure guests feel at home and have everything they need to enjoy a vacation. We appreciated the paper goods, soaps and cleaning items. The welcome basket, information book and local suggestions got our vacation off to a running start. The views are amazing we enjoyed sunrise and sunset everyday from the deck. I recommend renting the pontoon boat. We spent hours on the lake boating, floating, swimming and stopping off for some refreshment and dining breaks. The owners are accessible, flexible, friendly and responsive. We highly recommend the Lake House for gatherings of family and friends. We hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful time here with our extended family! There were plenty of places to sleep and park cars. The view of the sunset from the deck was beautiful and the kids had a blast swimming and boating on the lake.

This lake property is spacious and has a beautiful view. We loved our stay and definitively recommend it to families for their vacations. Brian was quick to respond and accommodating.

My family of 6 and I had a wonderful stay at this lake house. The home is well stocked and has been recently renovated, a truly beautiful setting. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake from the deck and swimming and fishing off the pier. A great spot for families and kids! Highly recommended, host was very responsive and helpful. Will recommend to my friends!

Perfect house for a retreat on Pewaukee Lake. Right on the water, gorgeous view of the sunset. Good breeze from either direction keeps the place well ventilated. Owner exceptionally clear and easy to deal with....we will absolutely be back!

I would highly recommend staying at this wonderfully done lake house. Was stocked with everything we needed and you couldn't beat the view of the lake, absolutely amazing from the patio!The lake frontage was great too. Brian and Laura were wonderful hosts, I will stay here again!
