Sehr sauber, modern, groß, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Sehr freundliche Resort Managerin, die uns auch erlaubte nach der Check Out Zeit noch etwas im Apartment zu bleiben bis der Starkregen aufgehört hatte. Schöne Yachthafenanlage, durch die intelligente Bebauung und Bepflanzung hat man auf den Balkons Ruhe und Privatsphäre.

Schade dass es keinen Pool gab. Wem das wichtig ist, der sollte bei der Buchung genau schauen, welche Zimmerkategorien einen privaten Pool haben. Um zum Strand / ins Dorf zu gelangen, empfiehlt sich ein Auto / Mietwagen.

Die Wohnung ist an sich nett, sehr luftig, sehr hell. Sie hat einen wirklich tollen Schnitt. Allerdings ist in der West Coast Marina nichts zu tun. Am traurigsten ist es, dass der eigentlich zur Anlage gehörende wunderschöne, große Pool sowie das angrenzende Restaurant geschlossen haben. Scheinbar haben sie die Corona-Zeit nicht überlebt. (Beides wird im Inserat auch nicht beworben, wir hatten nur fest damit gerechnet, da wir wussten, dass beides zur Marina gehört.) Von daher empfinden wir die Wohnung nur für einen kurzen Aufenthalt geeignet. Wir hatten dann ein Boot gebucht, welches uns am Steg vor der Tür abgeholt hat - dafür war die Location top.

Generell empfanden wir die Kommunikation sehr anstrengend. Normalerweise buchen wir über Booking.com, fahren zur Unterkunft, zeigen unsere Ausweise und gut ist. In diesem Fall wurden wir mehrfach auf verschiedenen Kanälen kontaktiert (Nachricht über Booking.com, WhatsApp Messages von zwei verschiedenen Personen, Link mit Nachricht auf Horizon …), sollten das Deposit vor Ankunft online zahlen (fühlte sich überhaupt nicht richtig an), sollten alle vier (inkl. Kinder) Ausweis-Daten inkl. Details in ein Online-Formular selbst eintragen … Da sind wir ausgestiegen, das war uns zu viel Aufwand anstelle von Erholung. Da wir ausdrücklich um Detailfeedback gebeten wurden, gerne hier noch kleinere Punkte: Das helle Sofa ist sehr schmutzig und bräuchte eine Reinigung, die Wasserhähne in den Bädern sind nicht richtig positioniert (zu nah am Rand, man kann die Hände nicht waschen, ohne alles zu überschwemmen), eine simple French Press in der Küche wäre toll. Wir konnten die Badewanne nicht nutzen, als wir es wollten, da der Verschluss gefehlt hat. Im Master-Bedroom ist der Schrank, sowie auch eine Schublade, nicht korrekt montiert.

The private pool and the calm atmosphere.

The Black River/Tamarin area is a great place to stay on the island as there are lots of quiet beaches and hikes close by. The apartment is situated close to some good restaurants and shops and is very easy to get to. The complex that the apartment is in is very beautiful and upmarket. The apartment itself was very spacious, well decorated, and had all the amenities that you needed for your stay (aircon, barbeque, welcome pack, Nespresso machine etc.) We were there for 10 days doing a combination of working and holiday and the apartment was perfectly set up for both. There is also a big complex pool for the block which was a bonus.

The apartment, while beautiful, has a few dings on 1 or 2 of the walls which could use a quick repair job. The wifi is very good in the living area but the signal isn't strong enough in the main bedroom and should have a booster installed.

This was a great spot, the complex is safe, secure, and quiet. The flat is in excellent condition and has all the amenities you require for self-catering. The welcoming staff were really friendly and helpful.
