Convenient location, and decent sized apartment. The host was nice and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it's close to the beach.

As some others have mentioned, the trains are quite loud, though at least they stop during the night. The air conditioning is only in the living room, so doesn't cool the bedroom much. There was no soap or hand towel for the bathroom. Parking nearby is difficult.

Was very clean, location was perfect for the beach, cafes and restaurants.

No extra blanket as woke up cold, the bed was a very small double bed and the shower head kept coming off the wall when showering. And parking was at the train station which was a bit if a walk with our luggage. Also had train noises passing all day.

It was a self catering apartment with everything you needed for a short stay. Perfect.

very dusty, I am severely allergic to dust and get asthma attacks. Not sure if the apartment had not been used a while. Kindly check your kettle as there was mould and clearly had not been cleaned, wanted to heat water to make tea of the allergic reaction I got.

Everything was perfect in a full equipped apartment, owner was nice helpful person, washing machine.

only negative was that there were no balcony.

The noise of the tram

Well located apartment, in between beach and Altea old town. it was modern, clean, good bed and shower and actually looking better than on the pictures.

The only thing I did not like was that there were no windows with direct (sun) light, so it was dark. A next time I would prefer a lighter apartment.

We were in contact before arrival. We had all the information. Mr. handed us the keys and helped. Everything was OK. Room nice, well equipped, quiet. We parked for free at the station, 7 minutes walk. To the beach 5 min. Nice place. We liked the old town, full of restaurants and shops. Great price in a good place !!! I RECOMMEND!! We will be happy to return.

It was a great location, near the beach and the old town. The apartment itself had everything I needed and was relatively modern. Really helpful to have a fridge etc.

On further inspection, it didn't feel clean. I found a pubic hair in my bedsheet and the shower water stank of sewage. Luckily my friends were staying in a hotel near by so I showered there. When I arrived, it's really unclear which entrance is for the La Mar apartments and which is for La Mar Hostel (and in fact the buildings are joined up - surely the same owners?). I had arrived early so was enquiring about leaving my case. I couldn't get through to the reception of La Mar apartments but the hostel owners were really rude, unhelpful and a bit scary actually, as a female solo traveller - the man really put me on edge. When I connected with the woman managing the apartments later in the day, she turned out to be lovely.

The apartment was clean and had everything you need. It was comfortable and the staff polite and helpful.

They do not provide a baby cot and the bed was quite small so it was difficult to be three in it. We asked for a extra mattress, witch was no problem at all so problem solved.
