Lack of proper beds, only sofa beds. The place is tiny, there is barely any room to move in the shower. There is no fridge. Checkout procedure required an inspection, which could only be done at 9:30am at the earliest.

The place is very tired, the sofa beds are comfy but very old and look very dirty. The place needs some money spent on it to smarten it up really, But this price is very good of course. The apartment is tiny (which is fine as long as you know this)

nothing..a very stressful arrival on our holiday

A complete waste of our first afternoon. All information from 'booking.com' said someone would meet us with keys. We could not enter the building and had no idea where to go to access our studio. I telephoned the host who was irritated that I had contacted her, as the owner, and not the agency..what agency? first I'd heard of an agency! A kind French lady phoned her, she said we had to go to 'reception'? We had no idea where this was, a Dutch man suggested the tourist information, with cases ,on snow we went there, they explained we had to go to the far end of the resort to the 'welcome centre'. We ended up getting the horse and carriage there and back costing 20 Euros!! We got the codes to get in but our afternoon ski time, and money, had gone. We got an email on our departure day saying how to get the keys from the agency and welcome!! Massive mistakes on the agency part. Studio was not clean or prepared, previous guests rubbish, wet towels, sheet and food still there!! Had pre booked towels and linen..none there!! The host did respond to my urgent emails and attempted to resolve the situation by getting the agency quickly cleaning that night and bringing the towels and linen, too little too late. Towels were inadequate for 2 adults and alongside the linen disproportionately charged for. They did reduce this cost on complaining about it. They offered a free clean at the end of our stay to compensate for the state of the studio and lack of contact, I wouldn't have paid for one anyway. No information regarding bedding, did not find this until leaving as we did not need to pull the beds out..a dreadfully disappointing start..otherwise the studio was ideal, stunning views and perfectly adequate!!! Not the owners fault, think she needs to quality check the agency.

The location easy to get to lifts for any level of skier

The arrangement for the drop off of the keys as we had a departure time of before 0700 hrs .

Perfect location, few steps from supermarket, tourist office, kids park. Ski-in/ski-out: just couple of turns from ski lifts. Has all nessesary facilities. Highly recommended.

Person to contact on place in Avoriaz actually doesn't speak English. So if you don't speak French, get your google translator ready.
