Amazing location… Clean & modern apartment.

No Bath robes & swimming pool was cold but I’m being picky!

The location is very close walking distance to the old town but a bit out so not as noisy, so that was nice

Its a very standard apartment, not a largely character place, but that is nit picking. Overall it was great!

It was close to center but in a quiet area. The beds, sofa etc were really comfortable. Every was there that we wanted or needed- except trash can in bathroom

The apartment is in a great location right on the edge of the historical old town. Turn left out of the apartment entrance, go up the set of steps and you are in the interesting old streets. It is a very clean and comfortable apartment with a lovely kitchen space. It is light and airy with a good sized balcony. The parking underneath the apartment block was a great advantage. For autumn evenings spent staying in the apartment there is a great television which you can put into original version play for those who want english speaking options. There is heating and air conditioning. It is an easy walk down to the coast though you have an obvious climb back up the hill. The old town area of Altea is lovely. Lots of wonderful winding streets, artisan shops and an amazing church with a lovely square. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes, both in the old town and along the sea front, that are still open in autumn. Altea has amazing views and there are interesting places to visit inland. We particularly enjoyed going a few miles inland to Guadalest. To enjoy both the sea side and the old town you need to be reasonably active as there are many steps. There is a great local market held by the sports centre each week on a Tuesday. The fruit and vegetable market is on the same day but this is held in the square below the old town. The hosts are professional, friendly and extremely helpful - we would certainly stay at the apartment again.
