Great location, practical equippment, very nice and kind host!

The location of El Medano is great if you are searching for a place which is not far away from the crowded parts of Tenerife by car but you want to enjoy a small town's beauty as well (beautiful beach, market on the weekend on the main square). Great to have the airport nearby especially if you arrive at night and you don't want the trip to your place to take too long. Very clean apartment, has everything for cooking (we cooked 2 times a day), also had our own parking place in a parking lot in the same building where the apartment is. Candelaria is a supernice host, I recommend the place to everyone. In the nearby town (Los Abrigos) we found the two best restaurant we've been to on Tenerife, one is portuguese (Sabor Portugues) and another one is south-american (Arepera Gocharepa) cuisine.

If you are a light sleeper, sometimes you can hear the road traffic at night. However, the accomodation is so great that you don't want to miss it just because of this. Bring earplugs just in case. We also read reviews about the noisy airplanes before we arrived, but that was not an issue.

The host was super helpful and friendly. She bought us some drinks and food when we arrived; so sweet!!!! Also the apartment was very nice. It had everything we wanted :)

Very nice private apartment

The apartment was very clean and felt like a home. Mari Candelaria was extremely accommodating, attentive and very kind. El apartamento estaba muy limpio y se sentía como en casa. Mari Candelaria fue sumamente complaciente, atenta y muy amable.

Everything was perfect. Todo va perfecto.

The location was perfect. The town El Médano is away from all the usual crowd, still everything you need is close by - beautiful beaches, hiking places, restaurants. The house itself is equipped with everything you need. Candelaria is very helpful host, she answered all our questions. There was a problem with keys on our first day of stay, she helped us in no time and solved the issue. I highly recommend this accomodation.
