Foodwaste ist ein Thema und wird gut gelöst; kein überlaufenes Buffet sondern Zusätze auf Bestellung (Käse, Fleisch, Eier).
Zimmer sind grosszügig ausgestattet und mit aller notwendiger Infrastruktur (Fön, Safe, Kaffeemaschine, Internet, etc.).
"Doppelbett" besteht aus zwei Einzelbetten, welche sich auseinander schieben können. Dann entsteht ein "Gräbli" ;-)

das Zimmer war sehr warm und hat sich auch mit offenem Fenster nicht abgekühlt, zudem war das Zimmer Strassenseitig, was etwas laut war.

My trip to Europe was 20 day, stayed in 6 hotels, this was absolutely the best one. Very clean and huge space, amazing Mountain View, excellent breakfast, very quiet, parking lot available for free. close to downtown.

The hotel is family owned and you feel welcome
from the first to the last minute. Every wish is read from your lips and you do feel extremely comfortable/ home.

We had a very good stay at Boutique Hotel Alpenrose. The hotel is in a great position, 10 minutes on foot from the chairlift Horneggli, and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Room are spacious and will all the comforts.

There is a high level of service at this small hotel, with none of the anonymity of most places- no sordid scraps of paper to sign after breakfast! Those who cannot understand the Swiss accent version of French will appreciate the English speaking staff.
The room was in an attractive chalet style, but with the quiet of a non- creaky masonry structure beneath.The boot/outer clothing alcove allowed the more elegant part to be kept tidy.The traditional wood shutters added to the novelty, and kept out the sunrise well.
The bathroom had several very intelligent features, including a glass shower screen which could be folded entirely away.
The standards of breakfast and dinner were in keeping with the room and service.
There is no need to comment about the location and view!
Even with the “ firm “ side turned upwards,the mattress was too soft.The bed had an excellent wood slatted base- something much cheaper than the giant springy monster would have been much better.
A tiny amount spent on an ordinary electric fan would be worthwhile- as well as being too soft,the bed was strangely hot- admittedly after a 27 degree day.
