We loved the quiet secluded location off the beaten track and the free use of the kayaks and ended up staying almost a week. The free breakfast was excellent and the host was very friendly and helpful. A great base for a family to just relax for a few days and/or explore VinWonders theme park from.

While the beach in front of the resort was cleaned daily, sadly there was quite a lot of garbage in the water and on neighbouring beaches, apparently due to the wind direction at this time of year.

Nice and calm atmosphere. Just few steps to the beach. Very warm hospitality from the owners. Would highly recommend.

None. But if you don't drive motobike - taxi is the only way get somewhere from that awesome place. But there are some restoraunts walkable distance on the other resorts near by.

This is a small, family-run bungalow and we instantly feel like we are part of their family. At the same time, we can enjoy our private time relaxing on the beach. You can rent a motorbike at a reasonable price and go shopping or dining. For those who seek a peaceful, quiet, and private holiday, gold sand is a perfect place. We will come back next year!

Our family bungalow was right on the beach. The small, private beach was enough for the kids to play. They loved the kayak and snorkeling. The staff was so friendly! The owner was always happy to help us and make some lovely juices for the kids. We also loved the restaurant next door where the owners are also super nice.

There was some kind of construction going on next to the resort, which seemed to go on until late at night. It was a bit annoying, but not enough to leave. We stayed a week.

Really nice seculed location with private beach. It has everything you need for a few days stay. Much more authentic experience than the big resorts. The bungalow was clean and well equiped. The host is helpful and always smiling. Definitely recommend to borrow the motorbikes from the host and take a trip around the island, it's really cheap and if you avoid the main city, the traffic is calm and it is quite safe. Good value for money.

The breakfast is simple, but ok. If you want something more, there is a good restaurant in the neighboring resort.

The resort owner is really honest and helpful. The breakfast was tailored made for us even we were the only guests at that time. Everything was good. You can eat in the resort restaurant or the restaurant nextdoor.

The beach is stunning in some seasons and not very nice in the other seasons. The sand is quite beautiful though.

The place is perfect if you are seeking for a quiet location. The host is very helpful and flexible for adjusting food or anything else.

Beautiful location, far away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. Lovely spacious bungalow overlooking the beach. I loved listening to the waves breaking at night and just sitting outside or on one of the swings, so peaceful and calm. Due to the pandemic and weather (we went during rainy season) we were the only guests and Shaun and his team looked after us wonderfully. I would definitely come back, I relaxed so much, just sitting back and enjoying the surroundings!

We loved how one could hear the waves constantly as our Bungalow was right on the beach. It was a very soothing and relaxed environment with such friendly and accommodating staff. We did not want to leave.

The drive out of town was a bit long but it was the perfect peaceful getaway.

This small resort is like being on a deserted island with amenities . I couldn’t be happier. If you want a get away location with no entertainment required but sun, surf, a hammock, comfortable beach chairs, and food....this is it. If you need to go to town and be entertained because you are bored, go somewhere else. I almost thought that places like this don’t exist anymore...but here we are. Perhaps there are 4 to 6 people on the 3 mile private beach or in the warm ocean water, but not many more. This is like paradise. Kayaks, beach noodles, comfy chairs, swings, and breakfast are provided free along with a 30 - 40 minute drive from the airport and back again when you leave. We tipped the driver well, and will tip all the staff before we leave. The staff here will do and arrange anything for you...without being intrusive. There is no selling of tours (thank God!), just a beautiful beach day after day after day. We found the food ample and not expensive and good. All made from scratch. A sweet waitress takes care of everything in the dining room and makes sure you have everything you need for all your meals. There is no bar...bring your own. We liked the tasty smoothies and the fact that sandwiches come with fries at lunch time. Yes there is a jetty beside this resort with a crane and sometimes a boat drops things off and a truck picks up a delivery, but there was no distracting noise. If anything, it was a little entertainment to see and note what is going on. The surf is the noise here...none other. Before breakfast, we put out a little sign stating you wanted our room cleaned and when breakfast was done, there was a clean room, clean towels, and a big bottle of water. Yes, cleaned every day if you like. We stayed a week, and then begged to stay another week and skip Cambodia. We are at the end of a 2 month SE Asian trip, and we were so ready to rest and have quiet beach time. This resort was perfect for us!

In the beginning it bothered me that there wasn’t always hot water in the shower or bathroom sink. I soon learned to shower after a swim at the end of the day as the water in the shower was a bit warmer than the ocean and it was no longer an issue for me. And then some days...there was very hot water! I can’t imagine how tough it would be to bring in constant hot water at a small resort, but I’m sure it would be rough and expensive. There are so many other fabulous things about our quiet stay here, that the hot water issue became a non-issue. I would come back to this resort in a heart beat. Bring a book!
