Wonderful setting, wildlife and integrated with the surroundings. Food was also great.

We enjoyed eatinng at the Big Trout as well as the Colibri restaurant. The food was delicious yet the service staff definitely needs some service training. Very kind, just not fulfilling the level of service provided everywhere else.

I'm sorry the fees are so much higher in January as we'd like to return. Perhaps next August.

The room was very nice and spacious (2 jacuzzis and a fireplace!) and it was a really nice experience to be inside the park and enjoy it at different times. The hotel is very nice and well located to visit the Poas Volcano (less than half an hour). We also had the chance to feed tucans, sloths and hummingbirds, which was the most amazing experience.

We got there late at night and the 2 additional beds for my kids were not ready. Also, they were not very comfortable. On the other hand, the breakfast menu was made in a way that if you wanted to have a proper continental breakfast, you would end up paying about 35-40 dollars!

The noise from the trucks was disturbing. And the coffee machine at the restaurant was broken and there was no capuchino. I expect at rhis level of hotel to fix it immediately and not let us drive away for coffee at all our stay.

The rooms are exceptional...river stone fireplaces, waterfalls with all live plants in the bathroom, balconies with hot tubs, etc...And the grounds are spectacular...hummingbirds everywhere and flowers blooming all around. The animal sanctuary is well done and the hike to the waterfalls is steps from your door. Staff is friendly and helpful. Be sure to do the frog tour and the animal feeding...these were highlights of our stay.

The food is good but quite quite expensive. For the price of the room per night, breakfast should be included. A welcome drink would be a nice addition to reception.

Extremely nice, spacious and modern villas, amazing views from the balcony and outside jacuzzi on top of that! crowd-free access early morning through the park and waterfalls as no outside visitors are allowed at that time.

As road is very close you can still hear noise at night and early morning, i guess breakfast can be included looking at the price you pay.
