Spacious and well equipped apartment overlooking the city of Lerici. Fantastic sea views from the terrace and the master bedroom.

We had 5 days at the apartment and it met all of our expectations, and that view!! The pictures do not do it justice. We could have spent all day just soaking it in. On our first day we followed the path to town, identified by the red and white strips on the track. We also use a free app for me.maps which helps finding the paths and does not require data use. Ok going down, required several stops coming back. Advise use of multi storey car park in the town, especially when shopping. We used the supplied barbecue twice, which was great, hope we didn’t smoke out the neighbours too much as it is not lidded. The pesto sauce that was left for us was superb. I commend the Italian recycle system. Very efficient, unfortunately we missed the bottle collection as we didn’t find the chart until the collection day had passed, apologies. Thank you to Paolo and Laura for such a warm welcome and comprehensive introduction to the property. We would be happy to recommend the apartment to friends and family. We have some lovely memories of our stay to this beautiful part of Italy.

Den traumhaften Blick von der Terrasse werden wir sehr vermissen! Die Betreuung vor Ort ist super nett und immer zur Stelle, wenn es Fragen gibt. Der Fernseher funktionierte nicht, was unsere Kinder aber sehr gut verkraftet haben. Die Einrichtung ist schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Ansonsten findet si h in der Küchenausstattung fast alles, was man zur Selbstversorgung braucht. Der Weg in den Ort ist zu Fuß machbar, aber nicht unbeschwerlich , vor allem der Rückweg!Aber die Busverbindung ist sehr gut. Wir hatten insgesamt eine sehr schöne Woche!

Die Terrasse bietet die einzigartigen Aussichte. Die Wohnung finde ich gross und interessant. Das Bett war bequem. Das Bad hat alles, die Duschecke ist zu eng, aber es geht. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, hat aber wenig Arbeitsplatz. Die Lage ist in den Bergen, braucht man unbedingt ein Auto. Das Auto hat eigenen Parkplatz. Lerici hat einen grossen Sandstrand und kann man von hier sehr gut mit dem Schiff Portovenere und 5 TERRE erreichen.

Un appartement avec une superbe vue, propre et idéal pour famille à 4 personnes. Le parking un peu serré pour deux voitures mais avec de la bonne volonté ça va très bien. Le point négatif c‘est un peu la situation de parcage à Lerici, et de descendre en ville depuis l‘appartement au centre à pied il faut du courage. Merci pour cette semaine.

L'appartement est assez bien situé avec une vue magnifique sur la baie. C'est grand, beau jardin. Endroit parfais pour se relaxer. Nous avons été très bien reçu et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

We loved our time at Paola's place in Lerici, the apartment was spacious and the views unbeatable. We arrived kind of late and Paola was very accommodating, picking us up at the train station and providing food for our first night's dinner in case we didn't feel like going out for dinner. We ultimately did go out the first night, to a very good restaurant not far down the road. All other restaurants were down in the town, and there were some very good ones. Lerici is a great seaside town and we're glad we stayed there. I gave the place four stars only because it was more remote than we realized. The reviews said it was near a bus stop, which is true, but the buses do not run very often. In fact, we never saw a bus go up our road the whole time we were there. We ended up walking down into town and back up to the apartment each time we went somewhere. Getting back up is a half hour of constant uphill walking. I would certainly recommend the place but if we went back again we would rent a car or at least a scooter to make it more enjoyable.

Ruhige Ferienwohnung mit viel Platz und nahezu kompletter Ausstattung, dazu ein Garten mit Sitzgruppe im Schatten und eine überdachte Terrasse, die fast den ganzen Tag in der Sonne liegt. Der Blick von der Terrasse über Lerici und den Golf von La Spezia ist tags und nachts überwältigend, so dass die anderen Räumlichkeiten kaum genutzt werden. Die zum Teil etwas in die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung lässt sich dadurch leicht verschmerzen. Bei aller Ruhe und Aussicht sollte man wissen, worauf man sich einlässt: die Wohnung liegt ca. 200m über dem Meer, der Fußweg ist steil und die Parkplatzsituation in Lerici ist nicht einfach. Wer sich damit arrangieren kann, findet einen perfekten Ort zum entspannen und einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Lerici selbst sowie Touren in die Cinque Terre, in die Apuanischen Alpen, an die Badestrände von Marina di Massa und und und.

What a terrific spot! The views are just as good if not better than the pictures showed. Plus the little garden is really lovely, and you have a nice spot to eat outside and (in our case) let our kids run around. There was a new BBQ when we arrived which we didn't end up using. The place is more spacious inside than I thought it would be from the pictures, and is altogether comfortable. Also, Luca was wonderful to deal with. A great welcome to Italy! As I mentioned, we have two small kids - boys aged 2 and 4 - and this place and Lerici itself was a great place for them. Spacious and not fussy, plus the trails around the house to chase geckos and butterflies... and Lerici has a lovely little park on the water and a merry go round that we spent all too much time on! The only negative comment I would make is that the second bedroom has only a sliding door and you can hear everything through it. So our youngest woke up a lot. But otherwise, all wonderful. A stay that exceeded our expectations all around.

We were kindly welcomed by Laura and Paola at the supermarket in Lerici, because the house itself does not have its own postal adres and is therefore difficult to find. The house itself was clean and cozy. The kitchen and bathroom are simple, but they are sufficient. But the most surprising thing at entry was the front terrace. The double doors of the living room open up a covered terrace with a fabulous view of Lerici and the bay of the Gulf of La Spezia. Every moment of the day, that view gives an other breathtaking image. At the back of the house there is another terrace at a spacious deep garden, also overlooking the bay. Here it is pleasant to stay if it gets too hot on the front terrace . Lerici itself can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes via a footpath to the village (part of the Grande Rondonee), but for the untrained hiker it is advisable to do the way back by bus (direction La Serra ), because it is a difficult tiring climb. Lerici is also a wonderful base for a boat excursion to Cinque Terra.

We werden vriendelijk opgevangen door Laura en Paola bij de supermarkt in Lerici, omdat het huisje zelf geen eigen postadres heeft en daardoor lastig te vinden is. Het huis zelf was schoon en gezellig ingericht. De keuken en badkamer zijn bescheiden, maar voldoen op zich wel. Maar het meest verassend bij binnenkomst was het voorterras. De dubbele openslaande deuren van de woonkamer ontsluiten een overdekt terras met een fabelachtig uitzicht op Lerici en de baai van de Golf van La Spezia. Elk moment van de dag levert dat uitzicht weer een ander adembenemend beeld op. Maar het huis heeft aan de achterkant nog een terras aan een ruime diepe tuin, eveneens met uitzicht op de baai. Hier is het aangenaam vertoeven als het bij mooi weer op het voorterras te heet wordt. Lerici zelf is lopend te bereiken in ongeveer 20 minuten via een voetpad naar het dorp (onderdeel van de Grande Rondonee), maar voor de niet geoefende wandelaar is het aan te raden de terugtocht voor het grootste deel met de bus te doen (richting La Serra), want het is een lastige vermoeiende klim. Lerici is ook een prachtige uitvalsbasis voor een bootexcusie naar Cinque Terra.

Luca's grandfather, Armando, met us and showed us to the apartment and our parking space. We had a wonderful week in Lerici, enjoying many evenings sipping wine on the verandah and taking in the fantastic view. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped but is a steep, uphill walk from town. We did not mind the walk up the hill but did not like one section along the road. A local bus leaves from the same area as the ferry to the Cinque Terra, costs €1.5 and will take you up the hill with the last trip at about 7.30pm. From Lerici we were able to access the Cinque Terra by catching a bus to La Spezia and then the train to Cinque Terra. Depending on the bus and train timetable this can take a while so it is advisable to plan the trip to avoid lengthy waits. There is also a ferry service but this did not suit our plans. The tourist office in La Spezia was very helpful with a variety of information. Thank you for an action packed, memorable week in Lerici.

Fantastic view, nice apartment with a beautiful garden and terrace, great hospitality (the family picked us up from the station and we got the best pesto ever from Luca's Mom), we loved the quiet and peaceful house as well as the lively Lerici.

Charming apartment in great location with spectacular views. Grateful for A/C in bedrooms during heatwave and lovely to have both a terrace and patio/garden providing shade at different times of day. The apartment was mostly quiet, with occasional sounds from events in Lerici wafting up the hill. The apartment seemed reasonably clean. We rented a scooter which made getting around and parking much easier (especially at the beach and in the centre of Lerici)though there is also a bus service into town from the stop at the bottom of the steps going down from the apartment. (We walked down once (20 mins) and caught the bus back up - it is pretty steep.) La Serra has two nice restaurants that are a 10/15 minute walk away, one of which has stunning sunset views,(L'Orto di Ameste). The other is called Miro and serves delicious pasta and sea-food. There is a choice of beaches - we liked San Terenzo because of the view back to Lerici and the wider beach, but there are coves all the way along the coast. Not sure the castle at Lerici is worth a visit to the interior unless you can read Italian. Beware of mosquitoes at sunset if you are down by the water - silent, but deadly! There is a small supermarket in Lerici - the quality of the fruit and veg there was extremely high. Tellaro was very pretty and a lovely drive along the coast road to get there (have coins ready for the parking fees). Be prepared for aching calf-muscles if you're not used to climbing and descending hundreds of steps. We found out all the above information by ourselves without too much difficulty, but would have been great to have some basic information available in the apartment (shop locations and bus-stops and opening times etc), although there were one or two tourist leaflets. Overall, we would highly recommend this apartment and also Lerici as a holiday destination.

"The house was nice,comfortable bed and beautifully situated. Magnificent view over the bay from the mountain top. The disadvantage of this in combination with the impossibility of parking your car anywhere is obvious!We undertook the walk down into Lerici, over rocksteps which were hard te find and overgrown with weeds. Quite an adventure! If we were to return we would not hesitate to rent a scooter. Our host was very helpful showing us a''nearby'' restaurant( in La Serra,superb!)and an ATM."
