The villa was everything we could have asked for, well equipped, clean and spacious.The pool and outside areas were idyllic and I would definitely recommend paying the extra for the pool heating. Locally there were some lovely restaurants within a 10 minute walk away and the local town centre was a little bit further away and had a wider variety of restaurants to choose from, with outdoor entertainment. Although the walk to and from the local town is a bit hilly. There is a well stocked medium sized supermarket close by, but you would need to get a cab for a larger food shop, which we only needed to do the once. The children didn't want to leave and we would definitely come back here again.

A villa that instantly met our needs for a relaxing home from home experience. Great location, huge pool, loads of space and everything you could need. We highly recommend this stunning holiday villa x

The villa location ideal, a short distance from the town, approx. 10 mins walk downhill, more strenuous uphill return. A number of good restaurants close to the villa including a well stocked local Spar and cafe. The property interior well laid out, clean & homely, not overly elaborate in decoration, but met all our needs. Good showers, beds and kitchen with washing machine which was used regularly. Outside space was tremendous, great pool, superb bbq, mini- tennis area & garden. Numerous sitting areas around the property to take the shade. The pool was the centre of activity during the holiday. The sloping floor & safety fencing was particularly beneficial for the youngest child & the contents of the activity box ensured plenty of items were available for both the pool & mini-tennis area. The veranda was able to accommodate all nine of the family when eating at the villa & provided for relaxation whilst overlooking pool activity. The house was spotless on arrival, maid service very thorough although not as per the cleaning schedule & the pool well maintained by the pool attendant during our stay. A few points for consideration:- Fridge door seal problematising - need to check door is property closed after each opening. Contacted Local taxi given in pre-departure - didn’t show - we cancelled after 11/2hrs. Thereafter used UBER, good service and price. Pickup & set down was from Mama Mia (close to villa) as villa is in an UBER Sat/Nav shadow.

We had a lovely stay at this villa in the middle of June. The villa is well equipped and was perfect for our stay which included a 1 & 3 year old and 5 adults. Loads of space and lovely A/C throughout. The pool was perfect - great size and we all loved it! Lots of toys for the kids to use in the water too. The villa is well located to the centre of Carvoeiro where there are lots of bars, restaurants and beach. Thank you for a great stay :)

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the villa was perfect. Well located for nearby restaurants and only a short 15 min walk to the beach and the main area of the town. The pool area was excellent and well equipped, as was the living area, kitchen and bedrooms. The air conditioning was excellent and much needed through hot spell we encountered. We ate at the nearby restaurants and some in the town, all of which were superb. The Spar shop just up the road was also very handy. We would all have no problem returning to this villa and would definitely recommend others to hire it too. The owners were also very helpful too.

We were a party of 10, 6 adults and 4 children between the ages of 8 and 2. The villa was more than big enough for all of us and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The bedrooms were large and airy and the kitchen was of ample size with plenty of crockery and utensils supplied. It was so nice to be able to sit outside together in the evenings and have a barbecue together and then have a relax and a drink when the children were in bed! They all enjoyed the pool immensely and were in there every day, it really was perfect for them and very safe. We went to the local beach at Carvoeiro and also Portimao, both of which we all enjoyed. There are plenty of places to eat for all tastes, even picky 4 year olds! We also went on a dolphin watch and a visit to Benagil Caves. The boat ride was something else and quite an experience as the water was a bit choppy but the caves were well worth a visit. We all said we would like to go back again sometime and I hope that we can.

This was our first family holiday in a long while and wanted somewhere close to the town, that catered for the array of ages within our group. This villa did not disappoint! Exceptional location and amenities. We would most definitely return and highly recommend this glorious villa.

Visited with my family including my baby niece and villa was ideal. Had loads of stuff for babies which was brilliant and appreciated. Communication with owners was great. Arranged pool heating and cot before arrival. Maid service and pool man came twice in the week. Didn’t see local agent during our stay but he was contactable. Everything was clean and well stocked kitchen. We were very lucky with a week of beautiful weather so we made the most of the beautiful heated pool, which is huge and perfect for groups. 8 x sun beds. We didn’t quite have as much shade as we would have liked around the pool with the baby. Could have done with one more umbrella. There were a few extra umbrella shades in storage but we couldn’t find any bases for them to be used round by the pool which was a shame. BBQ area, mini tennis court and big washing line was great. Lovely garden area with lemon tree to pick your own lemons - delicious! Villa is in a good location. Quiet area but very close to everything you need. Got Uber to supermarket for big shop. Spar shop 2min walk and Monte Carvoiero which has restaurants and a bar. All great food. Recommend Black Salt and Mamma Mia. Steep walk down to the main town and beach (and back up) but lots of bars, shops and restaurants. We had a lovely time and didn’t want to leave. My mum is already talking about booking it up for next year!

This house is fabulous and we don’t hesitate to recommend it. Family of 5, we had so much room, large bedrooms, fabulous showers in the en-suite bathrooms, huge living space. The house was immaculately clean, and everything as described. Pre arrival instructions perfect, visit from Kevin Property Manager during our stay to ensure all well. The neighbourhood is really lovely, safe and literally minutes downhill to Carvoeiro centre. No major walk back. Also 2 mins from Spar which is very well stocked and medical centre which I unfortunately had to use, but the doctor there went above and beyond. The outdoor space, pool really is impressive. Huge pool and little tennis court meant great fun. This house made our stay, as it was so perfect. Only niggle, need a hairdryer please! Couldn’t find one. Other than that, well stocked with tea towels, utensils, pool towels etc. Could do with a kitchen roll…also salt, pepper, oil…the house must be going through these each handover, having to buy new ones. Impeccable house and recommend highly. We enjoyed Elliot’s restaurant nearby, played pool in Tiffany’s bar also down the road..and had some lovely evenings in the centre. This house is less than 10 minutes drive to the water park and really was in a great location.

We had a wonderful stay here in September 2022. Great location just a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Pool was heavenly and we spent most of our time here! The property was very clean and communication was great. The interior does feel a little dated and the walls and plant pots around the pool area could do with some tlc but all in all we had a lovely stay. Thank you

We stayed with 6 adults abnd 3 youch children but the house always seemed spacious and it was so well appointed with toys, kitchen and glassware etc that everything seemed easy and relaxed. It is also so well located very short walk to shops and restaurants and pleasant walk into Carvoeiro. photos do not do justice to this beautiful house and pool area

We loved our time at this villa. Could have stayed longer. Pictures do not do house justice. Facilities The house is kitted out with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable holiday. Clean and tidy. We all thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The washing machine and clothes line outside means that you can pack light and come home with clean clothes. Bedrooms spacious and bathrooms modern and clean. Location Only a 2 minute walk to a spar shop. It was cheap and very handy when you need some extra items. Go early in morning to get fresh bread and pastries. Town is nice walk down the hill with stunning views. We didnt hire a car and used taxis to get to larger supermarkets. Overall a thouraghly enjoyable holiday and would not hesitate to come back.

We had a great stay at Casa das Amendoeiras and would definitely come back. The villa is large and comfortable and the outdoor space is everything you need with mutliple fantastic patios and a large pool. The villa is very clean and well cared for and the communication from the owners is great and they are very responsive. The beach, restaurants and old town are also a short 10 minute walk away. This would be a 5 star rating but the furniture and decorations are a bit dated and could use some updating, but we’d definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this house! The kids would have happily stayed in the large pool all day! The proximity to the beach and restaurants, supermarket and bakery meant we did not need a car. The beds were comfortable and the showers great. The kitchen was well equipped but could have done with some basic condiments and a dishwasher tab or two. Nothing major but does make settling in easier. The beaches and coastline are stunning and there are soo many things to do with little and big kids. The little garden is beautiful and the kids picked lemons everyday for lemonade. We could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. One small detail is the outside furniture could do with an update. The cushions were torn and the lounger cushions were worn. It’s minor but in that price range it adds to the relaxing feel. I can’t recommend this house enough! Communication was great and we felt thoroughly at home 😊 Thank you!!!

We all loved the pool. The kitchen was well stocked but lacked cloths and sponges for dishes and wiping down. The bbq grill was encrusted with previous cooking and took a lot of cleaning. Nice bedrooms with plenty of storage Had a great break!!!

We had a great week over the Easter holiday staying in the villa. The pool is huge (and warm) and the kids lived in it. The location is perfect for walks to the beach, to the town centre and to restaurants. We hoping to make this an annual holiday and would definitely stay here again.

Located centrally in the Algarve region within short drives to major towns of the region. Walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and beaches in Carvoeiro. Lots of space in the Casa and fully equipped to eat meals at home also.

Beautiful villa with everything needed for your stay. Well worth the extra to get the pool heated. Small supermarket & restaurants within 1/4 mile. Main town about 15 minutes away - not a bad walk once you get used to the hill on the way back! Would definitely stay again.

The villa is lovely and spacious and upon coming to the villa it has lovely grounds where it was situated. There was good information in the folder left from the owners. I have given this a 4 star we did pay additional for the heated pool when we arrived it was great but it went cold however one phone call to the property managers and it was done, The only other downfall was there being no safe on site, one of the door locks came off and therefore without a safe we secured the shutters and left the house but I was worried about passports and money. The positives a fantastic sized pool, great bbq area and the tennis court was brilliant. A lovely kitchen which always you to engage with other guests whilst cooking and having a room upstairs separate to the others is a benefit to those who prefer to sleep earlier. Overall a nice property to stay in, any issues we reported to the property manager were rectified almost immediately. I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to visit the area.

Beautiful property set in a peaceful location within walking distance of Carvoeiro. Pool heating was much appreciated especially by our 6 month old granddaughter. Lots of space both inside and out. Excellent communication with the owner. We had a fantastic holiday.

Location great and only 10 mins walk to beach and small shops. 3 large supermarkets within 5 mins drive. Great location for Slide & Splash, Zoomarine etc and shopping centres too!

Just returned from a wonderful 11 night stay with all the family. Such a beautiful , peaceful location. The pool and garden area were particularly lovely, the photos don’t do it justice. Our family of six adults and our two young grandchildren had a brilliant time at this lovely spacious villa. It is very well equipped with everything you need and there are plenty of games for the children to play with. The large pool is excellent with a shallow and deep end which was great for both the adults and children. We also opted to have it heated which was lovely. The cleaner was lovely and came in three times during our stay. The villa is situated in a very picturesque area and is close to a supermarket. bars and restaurants and the town and beach a fifteen minute walk away. A wonderful holiday enjoyed by all the family and we would love to come again in the future. Thank you.

This was our 3rd visit to Carvoeiro and this was by far the best location & also the most child friendly for our young granddaughter. With local supermarket & restaurants nearby we couldn't have chosen a better location, just far enough from the town to avoid the noise but close enough for a nice walk in to town when you wanted more choice. The pool was fantastic & a good size for swimming & playing, the layout of the villa suited us perfectly & Kathryn & Ben were easy to contact & responsive. Being set back from the road meant that we weren't aware of any noise so its a very relaxing & peaceful villa. Overall I would recommend this villa as the ideal family holiday accommodation.
