Hotel Alex is a wonderful hotel. The bar and lounge has to be one of the best bars I’ve been in, great staff, full of uniqueness and character, understated luxury with bags of personality. There is a real authenticity and sense of provenance and I hope I have the opportunity to return

This is arguably the most stylish, Lynchian hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Atmospheric, super-cool, dreamy, and very well-appointed and comfortable. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. And it was set off the main drag and very quiet. The best hotel in Zermatt. I can’t wait to return.

Loved the decpr and the fantastic bar. Staff were excellent. Location is fantastic - especially for Zermatters ski school 8.45am start, a 2 min walk from the hotel.
Too hot in the room overnight but solved by opening windows for 20 minutes before bed!

Very cosy and comfortable premises, excellent food, friendly staff.
The office charged approx. 1,000 Francs more than agreed through Booking.com and started discussions on this. For half pension additional EUR 45 were charged instead of announced EUR 40. The hotel should stick to the agreements and announcements.

fantastic location in 100m from town centre. staff couldn’t have been more helpful. the food was delicious, the best steak we’ve ever eaten.

Big and beautiful pool and spa area, breakfast is rich with a good choice of warm dishes as well as fruits and cold cuts. Bar area, fireplace room etc look luxurious but cosy and comfortable to have a drink and spend the rest of the evening
