Pressure of water needs to be better

The staff were amazing! They were so friendly and helped us with everything we needed! The tours were a great addition and were super easy to book! I would definitely recommend the Thai Cooking Class as it was such a great experience! We all wished that we could have spent more time there so we could do more of the tours that were offered.

Joy’s House is a beautiful traditional guesthouse just out of the city centre; it’s a peaceful oasis (with a fabulous kid-friendly pool) to return to after trawling markets, meeting elephants or climbing sticky waterfalls! The staff are warm and welcoming and Doe, the manager, went above and beyond to help us out… even driving us to the train station when he was concerned we wouldn’t make it there in time for our overnight sleeper train! We recommend Jumpy’s cooking lesson, as well, which includes a trip to the local produce market for ingredients. Also, the cocktails are excellent!

This property is traditional and while it’s comfortable and very clean, if you’re expecting 5-star luxury digs look elsewhere.
