Maybe the heated pool. But besides that it was amazing !

The apartment complex is right across from the beach. There is a great infinity pool, jacuzzi hot tub and a great view of the sea. The beach is fantastic. The apartment was modern and air conditioned (vital) and the beds are very comfortable. It is a secure complex with CCTV at the gates and a security guard patrolling at night. There is a small basic restaurant/bar across the road and there is a similar bar/restaurant on the beach which are very convenient. There are some very nice restaurants in Arenales which are a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment; there are also small local shops in this area. There is parking on site for €10 per day - a car is advisable for supermarkets etc. There is a playstation 3 in the apartment, also a barbecue and large patio area with 2 sun loungers and other outdoor furniture. There were two beach umbrellas in the apartment which were very useful. There is also a microwave, oven and dolce gusto coffee machine. Our kettle broke but was quickly replaced. It is a very quiet and peaceful complex and a quiet resort in general.

After booking some months in advance, I got a message offering private airport transfer for €50. I replied and agreed to set that up. I sent a message to confirm the week before we arrived but the transfer was not arranged and we had to make our own arrangements. The check in process did not go well. I has sent on our flight details in advance; I was under the impression that I could meet with 30 minutes notice to arrange entry. When we arrived we discovered that we could not check in for 2 hours; it was uncomfortable waiting in the early afternoon heat. I sent a text message when our plane landed but they were communicating via booking.com and email. The phone number on booking.com was not answered. There is no reception, so it is very important to arrange an exact meeting time before you depart. The best way is to arrange whats app communication. You have to pay €105 in cash upfront for cleaning - this only covers the cost of cleaning the apartment at the end of your stay and does not include cleaning the oven and barbecue or removing the trash. Despite what is says in the facilities section on booking.com, there is no daily housekeeping. You need to supply your own soap/washing up liquid/toilet paper etc. There are no English language TV channels. There was no toilet facilities at the poolside and no onsite shop as this is a private complex. There is no safe in the apartment.
