It’s a very beautifully restaurated old house, very comfortable.
Rafa and Claudia were super-helpfull. The room was clean, and had a very modern bathroom.

Just off the central square of the old town. Lovely views. Delightful hosts. Excellent bathroom & attractive furnishings. We had the room with the enclosed balcony and could sit in the warmth to drink our tea.
A warning: Don’t even try to get to it through the old town - the ‘direct’ route Google Maps will show you. Approach it from above and drive down the hill to it. Drop off your luggage there and you’ll be directed to the parking place well below. Be prepared for a steep climb back up once you’ve parked. Not for those with poor mobility.

An exceptional small hotel. A unique 18th Century house on 3 storeys lovingly restored and cared for by a local family in this delightful cobble-stoned village.
sat nav tried to take me down a steep ‘service road’ though a farm to the hotel - be warned and take the road into the village.

Amazing historic building in the centre Santilana. Beautiful room that was spotless. covered balcony. very modern en suite bathroom.
secure parking to the rear of the property. The host was extremely helpful and spoke good English. We will definitely be returning.

Old traditional and very stylish house right in the center of Santillana with safe private parking; our room was immaculate, beautiful and had a very modern and stylish bath; superb breakfast; the manager and ‚Jack of all Trades‘ Raff was very friendly, witty and helpful with different recommendations concerning i.e. trips to the near coast or our further journey through Spain
Next time I would avoid weekends in Santillana as the village was packed with day tourists - even though it was in the middle of October .

The small village has everything you need to rest, eat, walk and it’s central in Cantabria. From here you can visit all Cantabria easily.
Rafa and his team are great. You feel at home.
I planned to stay 2 nights and ended here for 4 nights!

My stay was simply amazing. José (the host) is extremely welcoming and professional...a super host. Nothing to add. The building is so well maintained and clean, the room was comfortable with a view on the old street of Santillana del Mar. I enjoyed pretty much the breakfast on the terrace with view.

Raphael is a very friendly and helpful person, loves to spend time for a good talk and nice tips.
The location is very well renewed and the position is just perfect, walking distance from any touristic point.
