We recommend Residence Schuler to anyone who is planning a stay in Taormina. Getting there for us was a little difficult as the car's GPS tried to send us down a one-way street the wrong way! Claudio Schuler came to the rescue and personally guided us to the property, after that it was a breeze! The views from the patio are wonderful, of the sea, hillsides, towns, and Mt. Etna. The apartment is very comfortable and located within short walking distances to many historic sights, shopping and food! What a great place to stay for our first time in Sicily. Thank you Claudio!

5 star !!!! This was an amazing trip for myself, my husband and 3 yr old. The host was very attentive and the property description is 100 percent accurate. To list the highlights: Safe location that is also quiet Incredibly clean apartment Spacious apartment Well stocked kitchen Stunning view from the balcony Comfortable beds for incredible sleep Grocery store near by The unit is great for walking and a car is not at all necessary however we were visiting local family and If you require parking it can be available upon request and it is extremely convenient . The apartment’s location was great. You could walk to town. The outside space was lovely with fantastic views. The host was was attentive and went out of his way to direct our family in Sicily to his locations.

The apartment couldn’t have been better situated for enjoying Taormina - easy walk to groceries, dining, shopping, and sights. Well kept bright clean apartment with a great sundeck. Owner was very nice and helpful. Overall was a great experience.

The experience was seamless from start to finish. Claudio was a pleasure to work with, arranging taxis to and from the airport and to a golf course for the guys. Good location, just a short walk to the main street of Taormina. The apartment was clean. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the furnishings could use updating. Also, towels and sheets are old and scratchy. It would take just a small investment to improve on that. Overall though it is a wonderful property.

Great centralized location with a beautiful view for our excursions to the Aeolian Islands, Agrigento, and Mt. Etna. A short walk to the pedestrian street in Taormina, and not far from the Greek Theater! If you do not mind some walking, you do not need a car! Signore Schuler was extremely informative with aiding us on getting to destination meeting points, and arranged taxi service to and from the CTA airport. We would stay here again if we return to this area!

The apartment was perfect and the view was spectacular!! My husband and I like to have ample room when we are staying for several nights and this apartment had lots of space to relax after a day of site seeing and just enjoying Taormina. We loved sitting on the deck looking at the water especially after the walk from the center of town. We had a little trouble finding the place by GPS, but Claudio was always there to come rescue us and lead us back!! Thank you for being such a great host!!

This was an exceptional property to which we would return in a minute. Mr. Schuler was very accommodating and helpful in every way. The villa was well stocked with everything we needed. Everything in the villa was in perfect shape and the surroundings of flowers in the garden, a parking space if needed( which we did) and a thorough orientation to the property and the villAge was well done. We would rate this villa as outstanding in all ways....bravo Claudio Schiller.

We stayed at Residence Schuler for a week in the December off-season, and we had a superb visit. Set in a neighborhood away from the touristy part of Taormina, but close all of the great spots to visit, the residence provided us with amazing views of Etna and the Ionian Sea - a photo from the apartment window now serves as my laptop screen shot - as well as an easy place from which to wander to the Corso for dinner, to the Greek Amplitheater, or to just wander about the town. Sr. Schuler was a delightful host, always ready to help with advice, and to ensure the comfort of his guests. The apartment was comfortable, warm, and inviting. An extra bonus is off-street parking possibility, so if you are driving (small car recommended), this availability is worth the extra fee. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

We enjoyed our quiet holiday in Taormina very much - a month passed quickly. But don't expect everything to be open, the sights are there to see even if a restaurant can be hard to find. We recommend Tischi Toschi. Our apartement was comfortable and well equipped. The property is very well cared for and from the first contact everything went as expected. The best was the very kind and helpful owner, Claudio Schuler. The fantastic view from our terrace over the sea, Etna and the gardens still remains with us. You can find the stores you need nearby: grocery, fish, vegetables - even the weekly market and places to take your coffee and an afternoon drink.
