GAVILANES is unimaginably charming…the food is excellent and visually stunning…relaxed atmosphere made me feel like I was at home…cannot recommend enough!

Needed to have change at front desk. Airport driver not always available when agreed to.

The rooms are good size. The air conditioner takes a very long minute to kick in. The beds were good. The food was awesome , the pool was the highlight. The pool as a cool bar above it .

The only thing I was worried about was the bathroom . There were little bugs around the shower and I had to make sure to keep the bathroom door closed. The bugs and the way it smelled after one day of showering was very uncomfortable.

Swimming pool, nice balcony in room, mini bar in room, clean and comfortable room with hot shower, free buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff and free airport shuttle.

Room was a little small, not much vegetarian option for breakfast.

the room was very dark, old and not very clean :( At the restaurant we had to wait 2 hours to get the ordered food

no hot water 2 days ask for extra towel no gime to me because de room is only 2 people

Good place, close to everywhere and had amazing workers! Everyone was so nice and very helpful. The food was extremely delicious and the waiters were also helpful. A great experience, and I would 100% come back.

I loved it all. It is a lovely place to stay - and the room was so nice. Perfect size, comfy bed, HOT shower if you want it - with a great little side porch to myself to eat and work on! I really loved the staff - esp a man that was in the shuttle that picked me up at the airport - and then worked in the restaurant in the mornings. GREAT GUY! They all were super open to my broken Spanish and didn't let that stop them from communicating with me. The breakfast was wonderful along with the other food I ordered. All in all a great great stay!

I would say that the only thing for me was that the music at the pool which was very loud as I was right next to it - was a bit too loud for me after 7 or 8pm.....and kept going until 10. But I do understand - it's the jungle.

There is way too much noise in this hotel. When you occupy a room near the pool, you cannot rest during the day until 11 p.m. because the pool bar emits ultra loud music. Likewise, you cannot enjoy the swimming pool, the terraces and the restaurant in peace, you have to put up with the music with its very marked bass. I changed rooms to get away from the pool bar and it was even worse because this time I had to endure the noise of an air conditioning motor from a room next door making a noise. hell every 5 minutes. I couldn't sleep at night, nor rest during the day. In the early morning, there was also the noise of motorcycles and car horns from the hotel garage.

Breakfast was amazing and the food at the restaurant was delicious as well.
