This hôtel is amazing !!! Quiet and so typical you have thé pool and thé nature close by !! For the bikers it’ s perfect place !!!! I came from France !!!! And i hope i can come back cause the staff worh it so much !!!! And the food is so good… i live in french Riviera so trust me !!!! Never forget you all guyssssss🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹

I liked the fact the room was big; I loved to feel the floor warm in the Morning in the bathroom. I liked the fact the hotel is a building full of history and with personality.

The rooms need a Facelift and refurbishment - From Windows to the floors , being a familly property the investment can be a huge efort. Also the breakfast can be improved For sure. But we are speaking of an old hotel with beautiful building in a village in Styria - I enjoyed staying here in the summer.

No Air Condition and no bugs screen at the balcony/window. It was really warm and lots of bugs and mosquitoes. The pillows are not very good either. The wait for the food at the restaurant was exceptionally long, the service very friendly though.

Unique rooms (there's about five of these unique apartments, each with their own name). Pet-friendly. Great garden with pool. Excellent full breakfast, with home-made omelette from farmers' eggs available. We took full pension and ate in the attached restaurant: highly recommended. A great destination for a carefree mini-vacation. Hotel Post Karlon is a family hotel which has been in the family for almost 150 years. Steadily over their ownership special features have been added to the Hotel Post Karlon, whether it's special apartments or unique halls to the restaurant. The visitor experience is very rich, with much to enjoy and explore, whether in the restaurant or the garden with the private pool. The welcome was excellent as well. We were allowed a generous late checkout which made our short séjour much more enjoyable If you would like to enter a time machine and enjoy carefree and comfortable European hospitality of the 1970's, Aflenz Kurort is a wonderful place to visit and Hotel Post Karlon an exceptional place to stay.

I'm nitpicking: there's nothing we didn't like. Reception area is very dark. Corridors can be confusing until you figure them out.

Great little town close to the trails. Amazingly welcoming and friendly staff. Delicious food and drinks. Having the outdoor pool and garden area after a long hike was perfect.

The beds were not the most comfortable, but, they weren’t the worst.
